Telus Slimline Doorbell Camera lets you see, hear, and speak to visitors at your door from anywhere with the TELUS SmartHome app. Get alerts when someone rings the doorbell or triggers the motion sensor, and respond with two-way audio. With a 180-degree field of view, night vision, and a built-in siren, you can keep an eye on your home day and night. The camera also includes customisable motion detection zones and chime tones, so you can tailor it to your needs.

If the existing doorbell does not ring the indoor chime when the button
is pressed, there may be a power issue and an electrician should be
consulted before beginning the doorbell camera installation process.

What’s in the box?
No Wires?
If the existing doorbell does not have wires then it is incompatible with
the Doorbell Camera.
Test Doorbell
Don’t have one of these?
If your chime box is not either of the above options or you have an
intercom system, then it is incompatible with the Doorbell Camera.
LED ashing orange?
If ashing orange, press and hold the main button for 60 seconds until
the light begins alternating green and red.

Entering troubleshooting modes
Continue to press & hold for troubleshooting steps below.
Wi-Fi access point mode
Connect to the camera’s temporary network and use the app to
re-add the camera. Push & hold ~60 sec until ashing, then release.
Power cycle
Reboots the camera. Push & hold ~70 sec until ashing, then
release.
Factory reset
Factory resets the camera. Deletes all Wi-Fi and conguration
information. Push & hold ~80 sec until ashing, then release.
No Wi-Fi connectivity
Check your Internet connection. Your Wi-Fi credentials may
have changed. Enter Wi-Fi Access Point Mode (see
Troubleshooting) and re-add the doorbell camera using the app.
Power supply issue
Contact your installer. The doorbell transformer
may need to be replaced.
No Colour
Possible power supply issue
If the LED on the Doorbell Camera is not showing any colour,
there may be a power issue or the LED may have been turned
off in the Video Settings on the Customer Website.

The Doorbell Camera requires a minimum of 2.5
Mbps upload speed to operate. In a browser on
your phone visit telus.com/speedtest to
determine the Internet speed.
