3-2 Installation method
3-2-1 Precautions on installation
The water tank capacity of this water purification system is designed for small business and
home use. It is prohibited to install the system for large business or public use. (If the water
purification system is used beyond its capacity, water shortage and/or shortened filter life
may occur as a result.)
Install the system on a firm, level ground.
Installation water pressure
- CHP-06EL: The water purification system provides specified water quantity in a normal condition
with the feed water pressure of 20 psi or higher.
Installation distance from tap water supply
- Feed water pressure below 20 psi: Install the system in a place within a range of 3M in height and
5M in distance.
- Feed water pressure 20 psi or higher: Install the system in a place within a range of 3M in height
and 25M in distance.
Do not install the system in a place where it is subjected to direct sunlight, freezing
temperature, and/or excessive moisture.
In the case the system is newly installed or relocated, read the User’s Manual once again
before installation.
The product is for power rating of 220V 50Hz. Check the power rating before connecting the
power cord to the electrical outlet.
Make sure to connect the feed water inlet hose to the cold water piping.
- In the case the feed water inlet hose is connected to warm water piping with the water temperature
of 40°C or higher, filters may be damaged.
Right after the installation, fill up the water tank and drain the water.
Repeat it at least twice before use.
Neo Sense filter cleaning (during installation and replacement): Clean the Neo Sense filter
for about 3 minutes.
Fine Post Carbon Filter cleaning (during installation and replacement): Clean the Fine Post
Carbon Filter for about 3 minutes.
- During the initial installation, flush the Fine Post Carbon Filter before installation.
(Flushing the Fine Post Carbon Filter during the initial installation minimizes the inflow of fine
particles into the water tank.)
Cleaning the Neo Sense filter and Fine Post Carbon Filter
- Remove the tubing from the bottom of the Neo Sense filter.
- Connect the Fine Post Carbon Filter to the bottom of the Neo Sense filter.
- Clean the Fine Post Carbon Filter with the water coming from the Neo Sense filter for about
1 minute. (water flow rate 3LPM)
- Separate the Fine Post Carbon Filter from the Neo Sense filter.
Connect the Fine Post Carbon Filter to the bottom of the Membrane filter.
