Installation Instructions

Removing a Power Supply

To remove a PSU while the NX-9600 is powered on:

1. Unscrew thumbscrew using a flathead screwdriver.

2. Remove plug from PSU.

3. Hold the black handle and pull the PSU out of NX-9600.

Note: The NX-9600 includes two PSUs. When one malfunctions it can be removed and replaced while the unit is

powered on. The NX-9600 beeps when a defective PSU is removed while the unit is powered on.

Installing a Power Supply

To install a PSU while the NX-9600 is powered on:

1. Carefully unpack the power supply.

2. Carefully insert the PSU into the services platform.

3. Push the power supply forward until the power supply is securely in place.

4. Tighten thumbscrew using a flathead screwdriver.

5. Reattach the power cord.

6. Observe a solid light on the PSU to confirm proper operation.
