INTRODUCTION
Sauer-Danfoss is now offering DSW motors with is special designet to be suitable as
transmission motors in small vehicles.
The DSW motor is designed for vehicles such as:
Walk-behind mowers
Ride on mowers
Scissor lifts
Sweepers
The DSW transmission motor is also suitable for a wide range of other applications that
require a motor that is both compact and highly efficient. Characteristic feature that

Permissible shaft loads for DSW
The permissible shaft load on the shaft is shown for different speeds as a function of the distance from the mounting
flange to the point of load application.
Radial load:.
Curve A indicates the max. radial shaft load. Any shaft load exceeding the values quoted in curve A will involve risk for
breakage.
The other curves apply to a B10 bearing life of 1500 hours at the indicatet speed when applaying a hydraulic mineral
oil with an adequate content of anti-wear additives.
The longevity can also be calculatet by means of the “Bearing dimensions” instructions in the technical information
“General” 520L0232.
Axial load:
The axial load, in both directions, must not exceed 25% of the actual radial load nor exceed 1.500 N [337 lbf]
