To play the game, each player starts with four monkeys of the same color. The ELEFUN popper is placed into one of the four swimming holes on the gameboard. Players then launch their monkeys at the swimming holes, aiming to get them to land in the water. For each monkey that lands in a swimming hole, the player collects a banana token. The game continues until all of the banana tokens have been collected. The player with the most banana tokens at the end of the game wins.
