STEP 1: START
To start the unit, turn the key to on and the dash will
light up. (Wait a moment.)
STEP 2: MASTER POWER
When that is on, turn you master power on. That will
turn your fuel pump on and you’ll be ready to start.
STEP 3: TURN KEY
Turn the key all the way to the right to start.
PROPER USE
Get engine running and while at idol raise and
position your unit where you want it to be before
you ramp up your RPMS.
STEP 5: RAMP UP RPMS
LIghting should be above 1500 RPMs
running the LED lights.
STEP 4: SET POSITION
Raise, lower, rotate and tilt the fan head into position.

STEP 1: APPLY BACK BAR
STEP 1.1: Turn master power on, tilt forward.

Utilize tilt motion to get the unit in place,
tilt back to take the slack out of the bar.
STEP 1.2: Hook bar (side A) to oor hook.
STEP 1.3: Hook bar (side B) into eyelet.
STEP 1.4: Turn master power on, tilt back until bar is tight.

STEP 2: APPLY TURNBUCKLES
STEP 2.1: With back bar being tight, hook turnbuckle
(side A) into streetside oor hook.
STEP 2.2: Hook turnbuckle (side B) into streetside unit
tie-down, turn bar to right until tight.
STEP 2.3: Hook second turnbuckle (side A) into curbside
oor hook.
STEP 2.4: Hook turnbuckle (side B) into curbside unit tie-
down, turn bar to right until tight.
STEP 2.5: Secure the jam nut. STEP 2.6: Place pins in bar hook eyelets to hold.
Make sure turnbuckles and back bar are removed before operating unit.

Refer to Cummins supplement for engine maintenance.
SCISSOR LIFT:
Refer to Advance Lift supplement for scissor lift maintenance.
SVU UNIT:
After each use:
;Clean and inspect unit after each use.
;Keep debris clean from shroud and blade area.
;Inspect covers and fasteners etc. for tightness on a regular basis.
WARNING
Never operate with any guards, covers or other components
not properly in place and in good condition.
