Safety instructions

Assembly, installation, and commissioning must only be carried out by a qualified

electrician!

For work on systems with 230 V AC mains current the safety requirements of DIN VDE

0100 must be observed.

When installing DCM BUS systems the general safety rules for telecommunication sys-

tems

in accordance with VDE 0800 must be observed:

• separate cabling for high and low voltage lines

• minimum distance of 10 cm for joint cabling arrangements,

• use of separators between high and low voltage lines in joint cable ducts,

• use of standard telecommunication cables, e. g. J-Y (St) Y with 0.8 mm² cross section

• existing wiring (retrofitting) with other cross section can be used if the loop resistance is

not exceeded.

Suitable lightning prediction must ensure that a voltage of 32 V DC will not be

exceeded at the DCM BUS wires a and b.

multiple outdoor stations and door releases are integrated in a DCM system. The relay

opens the door, where the door call has been triggered.

Programming of door release relay

The TK TR 24 REG has to be programmed with the commissioning software.

Switching time settings

You can program the switching time of the TK TR 24 REG. The factory setting is 3 sec-

onds. The door release time of the Outdoor station has no effect to this.

The door release will be triggered via the switching contact of the TK TR 24 REG

Selective door release

The door release command of the indoor station always triggers the last calling outdoor

station. The door release time of the power supply and control unit effects both door

release relays. Program and lock the outdoor station with a fixed AS-address to ensure a

proper assignment of the TK TR 24 REG.

Visual door call indication, additional door bell or other additional devices

Install the TK TR 24 REG for the switching of various additional devices. The TK TR 24

REG can be triggered by means of door call, internal call or floor bell call.

Visual door call indication:

Relay is assigned to the call of the indoor

The switching time can be adjusted to

customer‘s need, see Programming.

The relay is switching the visual door call

indication by every door call, internal call

or floor door call for the adjusted time.

Assign the relay to the call of the indoor

Evaluation of control functions

The switching output is controlled by a control function. The activation of a control function

is possible by pressing for example the F-button of the indoor station

The control function is assigned to the switching by programing.

The TK TR 24 REG has to be programmed with the commissioning software.

 Activation by means of door call to the parallel serial number
