How to Find the right height when mounting your
TV?
Please do as the followings to find the proper
mounting location of the TV wall mount
according to your needs
STEP 1
Option A: Fix the TV wall mount on desire
location above the TV stand.
H means the height of the top wall plate.
H0 means the height of the TV stand.
H1 means the desired height from the bottom
of the TV to the TV stand.
Option B: Get the most comfortable visual
height if there is no other objects under the TV.
H means the height of the top wall plate.
Htv means the height of the TV.
X means the height from the center of TV to
the floor.
STEP 2
If the TV wall mount comes with the TV
bracket as shown in the Fig.1
you need to
measure the H2.
H2 means the height from the down-facing
hook of TV bracket to the bottom of the TV.
STEP 2.1
If your TV wall-mount looks like Fig.A, then
you can locate the height of the top of the wall
plate.
Option A:
H= H0+H1+H2.
Option B:
H=X-Htv/2+H2
Choose the option A or B according to your
needs.
Then mark a horizontal line at the height of H.
After that, you can secure the wall plate on the
wall along with the horizontal line.
STEP 2.2
If your TV wall-mount looks like Fig. B, you
need to measure the H3. H3 means the height
from the down-facing hook of TV bracket to
the top of the wall plate. Then you can locate
the height of the top of the wall plate.
Option A:
H= H0+H1+H2-H3.
Option B:
H=X-Htv/2+H2-H3
Choose the option A or B according to your
needs.
Then mark a horizontal line at the height of H.
After that, you can secure the wall plate on the
wall along with the horizontal line.
STEP 2.3
If your TV wall-mount looks like Fig. C, you
need to measure the H3. H3 means the height
from the down-facing hook of TV bracket to
the top of the wall plate. Then you can locate
the height of the top of the wall plate.
Option A:
H= H0+H1+H2+H3.
Option B:
H=X-Htv/2+H2+H3
Choose the option A or B according to your
needs.
Then mark a horizontal line at the height of H.
After that, you can secure the wall plate on the
wall along with the horizontal line.
STEP 2.4
If the TV wall mount comes with the bracket
extender as shown in the Fig.2 and the arm of
the TV wall mount looks like Fig. D , you
need to measure H2 and H3.
The H2 means the height from upper bolt to
the bottom of the TV.
H3 means the height from the down-facing
hook of TV bracket to the top of the wall plate.
Then you can locate the height of the top of
the wall plate.
Option A:
H= H0+H1+H2+H3.
Option B:
H=X-Htv/2+H2+H3
Choose the option A or B according to your
needs. Then mark a horizontal line at the
height of H. After that, you can secure the wall
plate on the wall along with the horizontal
line.
Take the followings digital as an example.
H0=40cm
H1=10cm
H2=40cm
H3=3cm
Htv=60cm
Desired Height of the height from the center of
the TV to the floor X=140cm
Option A:
H=H0+H1+H2-H3=40+10+40-3=87cm
Mark a horizontal line at the height of 87cm.
After that, you can secure the wall plate on the
wall along with the horizontal line.
Option B:
H=X-Htv/2+H2-H3=140-60/2+40-3=147cm
