INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing this Alpine Industries Dispenser! The automatic and manual models were
specifically designed and built for use in industrial settings and commercial offices to provide years
of reliable service. The automatic model is equipped with onboard sensors that detect hands and
automatically provides a portioned amount of soap.
WARNING
This manual must be read carefully before attempting to install soap dispensers. If you do not follow
the safety rules or the instructions outlined in this manual, the unit may not operate properly and it
could cause damage. Alpine will not be liable for any damages because of failure to comply with the
installation and operating instructions outlined in this manual or because of improper use. Failure to
comply with the installation and operating instructions or improper use voids the warranty. Make
sure soap outlets are always kept free of obstructions to ensure proper flow. Never use any other
liquids besides soap in the dispensers. If you have any questions regarding the installation or opera-
tion of this dispenser, or if you need a copy of the installation instructions please contact our repre-
sentatives.

Note: Typical wood screws have been included with this product. These screws can be used in most
types of walls and studs. However, other screw types may be needed such as: for masonry walls
with tiles — use a carbide—tip drill bit.

PREPARING THE DISPENSER
1. Carefully remove dispenser from shipping carton, remove packing material (recycling is recom-
mended), and inspect unit for damage.
2. Check for missing of damaged parts. If parts are missing or damaged contact the retailer.
3. Open the dispenser by inserting key, pressing down on key button 3 and swinging cover 1 down.
4. Pull out RESEVOIR 6 (see page 5), remove CAP 7, and fill with liquid or foam soap. Close CAP 7
tightly.
5. On automatic dispenser — Open battery compartment and insert eight (8) AA batteries or install
AC power adaptor.
6. Open battery compartment and insert eight(8) AA batteries or install AC power adaptor (automatic
version only). When new batteries or the AC adaptor are installed and the unit is receiving power, the
LED will quickly flash GREEN and then RED to let you know it is functioning (If the LED does not
flash, check to see batteries or AC power adapter are installed correctly).
TESTING THE DISPENSER
Press ON/OFF buttom to turn unit on (LED will flash GREEN); factory default setting is off when
initially connected to a power source.
Testing the single dose:
1. Press the SINGLE DOSE BUTTON 11 with one hand and trip the sensors underneath with the
other hand. The LED will flash green and the dispenser will discharge a single dose. If the unit fails
to discharge, check to see that the RESERVOIR is full and
the PUMP TAB 10 is properly connected to the FLANGE 17.
In single—dose mode, the LED will flash GREEN every five
seconds thereafter to remind you that the unit is in this
mode (to prevent any potential wasteful misfires).
Testing the double dose:
1. Press the DOUBLE DOSE BUTTON 12 with one hand and
trip the sensors underneath with the other hand. The LED will flash red and the dispenser will
discharge two doses. If the unit fails to discharge, see above.
In double—dose mode, the LED will flash RED every five seconds thereafter to remind you that the
unit is in this mode (to prevent any potential wasteful misfires). To turn the dispenser off, press the
ON/OFF button once and the LED will flash RED.

INSTALLING DISPENSER CAUTION:
Make sure that no electrical wiring or pipe runs are located in the wall cavity
where the dispenser is to be installed.

Phillips head screw driver
Drill
Drill bit
Stud finder
Pencil
1. Mount over a counter top no less than 16 inches (40cm) above counter. Do not install dispenser
over electrical outlets.
2. Hold the holster 16 against bare wall and mark location of screws on the wall.
3. Drill out 4 holes and insert wall anchors, install holster 16 and insert screws (do not over tighten
screws).
4. Return internal unit 14 into holster 16.
5. Return reservoir being sure pump tab 10 is inserted around flange 17.
6. Swing cover 1 back up and lock it into holster 16 until a clicking sound is heard. The dispenser is
now ready for use.
USING DISPENSER

Place hands under dispenser to receive soap dose(s). Hands must be completely underneath both
sensors to activate dose.

MAINTAINING THE DISPENSER
Always unplug or remove batteries before cleaning. Only use a damp rag to wipe down the exterior
of the dispenser. Never submerge the unit. Use a dry cloth to wipe sensors. Be sure the dispenser
nozzle is clear of any dried soap or other debris. Occasionally open the cover to check battery level,
LED will continually blink when low. Replace liquid or foam soap whenever levels are not visible in
the sight window. When new batteries or AC adaptor are installed and the unit is receiving power, the
LED will flash GREEN and then RED to let you know it is functioning (check batteries or AC adaptor
installation if LED does not flash).
LIMITED WARRANTY
Terms and Conditions of the Alpine 1 Year Limited Warranty — Your warranty begins at the date the
purchase, please retain your proof of purchase. The warranty coverage only covers the original
owner. The replacement of any part is warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period.
What is Covered — The parts are warranted for a 1 year period from the date of purchase. Alpine
Industries will provide part replacement for original defects, when in accordance to the owner's
manual and installation guide.
What is Not Covered— Any damage to the product caused by accident, negligence, misuse, vandal-
ism, external sources like weather, transit, flood, or electrical outage/power surge. Use of parts not
installed or assembled in accordance to the instructions of Alpine. Use of components which are not
Alpine parts. If installed outdoors or in a corrosive or wet environment containing hazardous chemi-
cals. Damages caused by cleaning not in line with this manual instruction. Any loss of business,
revenue, or personal in jury as a result of the product failure, accident, abuse, or misuse.
Warranty Limitations and Exclusions — This limited warranty give you specific rights, and you may
also have other rights which vary from state to state. Any other warranties relating to your Alpine
product, including, but not limited to, warranty of merchantability, are limited to the duration of the
warranty. Alpine will not be liable for consequential, incidental, special damages you may incur in
connection to your Alpine product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitations of inciden-
tal or consequential damages so this limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
