To assist with small boat installations where a GPS Chart Plotter may not be mounted on board, Standard Horizon offers an optional GPS

Smart antenna that can be used with the GX2000 radio.

Connecting the GPS antenna to the Gx2000 allows the radio:

a. To show GPS position, SOG and COG of the vessel

b. Transmit DSC(Distress and Position Polling) calls with GPS position

c. Show AIS targets on the radios display
