Control Valve Adjustment
THE UP/DOWN MOVEMENT OF THE SNOW PLOW CYLINDER IS CONTROLLED BY A FLOW
CONTROL VALVE. THIS VALVE IS LOCATED ON THE FRONT OF THE PUMP.
1. Loosen the nut on the flow control valve using a 11/16" socket, extension and ratcheting wrench.
2. Using the 5/32" Allen key, tighten the valve stud in all the way, then back it off (loosen) 1/4 of a turn.
3. Using an 11/16" open ended wrench, and a 5/32" Allen key to maintain the valve stud position,
tighten the flow control valve nut. If cylinder does not lower, repeat steps 1-3, but back off stud by
1/8 turn increments.
