Icon Mode Purpose
Off Off Turns off tfie camera.
I_1 Auto For gener_d picture-taking. \utomatically sets
exposure and focus. Flash fires if needed.
Sport For subjects th_uLare in motion. Shutter speed is fast.
Flash fires if needed.
&.,_ Night For night scenes or low light conditions. (;aptures
close and background subjects. Flash fires if
needed. In &rk scenes, the shutter speed is set
between 1/1700 and 1/2 second. Place c_unera on a
flat, steady surface or tripod to avoid camera shake.
Landscape For distant subjects. Flash does not fire unless _rm
turll it on.*
Close-up For subjects 6 to 27.5 in. (13 to 70 cm) from tile
lens. Flash does not fire unless you turn it on.*
