card
Yourcamerahas 16MBof internalmemory.Youcanpurchaseoptional
SD/MMCcardsfor removable,reusableimagestoragefor picturesandvideos.
Purchasethis and otheraccessoriesat a dealerof Kodakproducts.Visit

CAUTION:
Cards should only be inserted as explained below. If
inserted incorrectly, the door won't close, and forcing it
may damage the camera or card.
Do not insert or remove a card when the green ready light
is blinking; doing so may damage your pictures, card, or
camera.

Using the camera screen as a
viewfinder
IMPORTANT:TheLiveviewfeaturesignificantlydepletesbatterypower,useit
sparingly.
1 Turnthe Modedial to anyStillmode.

screen.
3 Frameyoursubjectinthe camerascreen.

Reviewing the picture or video just taken
After youtakea pictureor video,the camerascreendisplaysa Quickviewfor
approximately5 seconds.Whilethe pictureorvideoisdisplayed,youcan:
Review: Ifyoutakenoaction,the picture/videoissaved.
Play (video): Pressthe OKbuttonto playthevideo.
Share: Pressthe Sharebutton to tag a picture/videofor email,orasa
Favorite,or to tag a picturefor print(seepage24).
Delete: Pressthe Deletebuttonwhile the picture/videoand _ are
displayed.Followthe promptsto deletethe picture.
Using digital zoom
Usedigital zoomin anyStillmodeto get upto 3Xcloserto yoursubject.
IMPORTANT:Youmaynoticeadecreaseinprintedimagequalitywhenusing
digitalzoom.
1 PresstheOKbuttontoturn onthe camerascreen,thenpress _ to activate
digitalzoom.

Using the flash
Use the flash when you take pictures at night, indoors, or outdoors in heavy
shadows. Flash is effective between 2.6 - 7.9 ft (0.8- 2.4 m). You can only
change the flash setting in Still modes.

Compose the scene.
Pressthe Shutter button, then move sothat you are in the scene.
TheSelfTimerlight blinksslowly for 8 seconds(then quicklyfor 2 seconds)
before the picture istaken.
TheSelf Timer turns off after you take the picture or turn off the camera.
Pre-tagging for album names
UsetheSetAlbum(StillorVideo)featureto pre-selectalbumnamesbefore
youtake pictures.Then,all thepicturesorvideosyoutakearetaggedwith
those albumnames.
First--on your computer
UseKodakEasySharesoftware,V 3.0or higher(seeInstallingthe software,
page22),to createalbumnamesonyourcomputer,thencopyupto 32album
namesto the camera'sinternalmemory.Seethe KodakEasySharesoftware
