Read these instructions carefully under all circumstance
and follow all the instructions listed. You will guarantee
the reliable operation and a long life expectancy of your
projection clock radio in this way. Always keep these
instructions at hand, close to your projection clock radio.
In the event that you transfer ownership of this projection
clock radio please provide these instructions to the new
owner.
Purpose of use
This device is intended for personal use only. It is not
intended for commercial use in a heavy industry
environment. Use under extreme environmental conditions
can result in damage to your device.
This device is only suitable for using in dry, internal rooms.

Electrical devices do not belong in the hands
of children!
Do not let children use electrical devices unattended.
Batteries endanger life if swallowed. For these reasons, keep
the unit and batteries out of reach of children. If a battery is
swallowed, please obtain immediate medical assistance.
Also, keep the plastic packaging out of reach of children to
avoid danger of suffocation.
Setting the product up safely
Choose a flat, firm surface to set the product on. Make sure
that
the ventilation slots are uncovered so as to ensure there
is adequate ventilation (10 cm distance at least from a wall).

splash water or humidity.

the unit.
Keep the mains connections accessible
Connect the unit to an easily accessible power socket
(230V ~ 50 Hz) close to the unit. In case the unit has to be
disconnected quickly, the plug has to be within easy reach.
To avoid tripping hazards, please avoid using extension
cables.
Handling batteries properly
The device uses one 9V block battery size 6F22/6LR61/AM-6
as a backup battery.
Before inserting the battery, check whether the contacts in
the device and batteries are clean and, if necessary, clean
them.
Only use new batteries.
Always change the complete set of batteries.
Do not use rechargeable batteries.
Never try to recharge normal batteries. There is a risk of an
explosion!
Store batteries in a cool, dry location. Direct strong heat can
damage the batteries. Therefore never expose them to
sources of heat (e.g. radiators) or direct sunlight.
Never short-circuit the batteries.
Never throw batteries into a fire.
Immediately remove leaking batteries from the device.
Clean the contacts before inserting new batteries. There is a
risk of corrosion due to battery acid!

Do not carry out repairs
In case the power supply cord or the unit is damaged, pull
out the AC mains plug immediately.
To avoid hazards, under no circumstances attempt to open
or repair the unit yourself. There is danger of electric shock!
Refer all servicing to our Service Centre or to another
qualified workshop.
When absent for a long period of time or during a
thunderstorm, pull out the AC mains plug.
It may be that an electronic discharge has taken place if the
device demonstrates disruptions to functions. Remove the
mains plug from the mains and take out the batteries in this
case. Then, replace the batteries and reconnect the device to
the mains. The device will be restored to its previous status
in this way.

Cleaning the unit
Always disconnect the AC mains plug before cleaning the
unit. To clean the unit, only use a moistened, soft cloth. Do
not apply chemical solvents or cleaning agents, as they may
damage the surface and/or labelling of the unit.

Setting up 5
Power connection
The mains plug serves to operate the projection function
and the clock with display itself. For backup purposes the
device runs with one 9V block battery (not included). In case
of a power interruption the set time will remain in the
device’s memory so there is no need to re-set the time
afterwards.
Plug the mains plug into a well accessible 230 V ~ 50 Hz
socket.
Inserting the batteries
Press the clip on the cover of the battery compartment
down and remove it.
Insert a 9 V battery (6F22/6LR61/AM-6) as shown on the
back wall of the battery compartment. Pay attention to
polarity.
Close the battery compartment.
Remove the battery from the device if you are not
using the device for a longer period.

Using the Alarm Clock 6
Setting the clock
Set the switch SETTING to the position “TIME. Rotate the
Multi-Jog anti-clockwise to set the minutes, clockwise to set
the hours.
Once the time is set, move the switch SETTING to the
position “RUN” to complete time setting.
Setting the projection clock
To turn on the projection permanently, move the
PROJECTION switch to the position ON; switch the
projection off by moving it back to OFF.
The projection will automatically start at the time you have
set the alarm, regardless of whether the projection is set on
or off.
Set the hours by pressing simultaneously the HOUR button
and the TIME button. Keep them pressed until the hour
digits are displayed.
Set the minutes by pressing simultaneously the MINUTE
button and the TIME button. Keep them pressed until the
minute digits are displayed.

Focus
To adjust the projection clock focus, rotate the FOCUS dial
until the projector’s time is clearly shown on the ceiling or
wall.
The ideal projection distance is 1 – 2 metres.
After you have adjusted the focus control, the projection
cannot be pushed back into its compartment as the focus
will be protruding.
Therefore please ensure to re-set the focus back to the
original position before placing it into its compartment.
Setting the alarm time
Set the switch SETTING to the position „ALM“. Rotate the
Multi-Jog anti-clockwise to set the minutes, clockwise to set
the hours.
Once the time is set, move the switch SETTING to the
position “RUN” to complete time setting.
Radio
Set the switch ON/AUTO/OFF to position “ON“.
Set the AM/FM BAND switch to the desired waveband.
Tune to the desired radio station with TUNING.
To obtain better FM reception, lay out the FM Antenna wire
to its full extension.
The radio can be switched off by setting ON/AUTO/OFF to
the “OFF” position.

Activating the alarm
The alarm can be activated by setting the switch
ON/AUTO/OFF to the “AUTO“ position.
Waking by radio: Tune on a station and set the volume to
the desired level. The radio will switch on at the selected
alarm time.
Waking by buzzer: Slide the VOLUME knob to the position
BUZZ“ until you hear a “click” sound. The alarm will be
activated with a buzzer sound at the selected time.
Snooze function
The alarm can be interrupted for 9 minutes by pressing the
SNOOZE button. After that time the radio or alarm buzz
will sound again.
Switching off the alarm
To switch off the alarm, set the ON/AUTO/OFF switch to
the “OFF” position.
Sleep timer operation
This alarm clock is equipped with a sleep timer function
which will switch off the radio automatically after a
preselected period from 1 hour 59 minutes to 1 minute.
Press the button SLEEP. Rotate the dial anti-clockwise to
set the desired time (from 1 hrs 59 mins down to 1 min).
Rotate the dial clockwise to set the fixed time 1 hrs 59 mins.

After the preselected time has elapsed, the radio will switch
off automatically. To switch the radio off before the time has
elapsed, press the SNOOZE button.
Maintenance 7
The lifespan of the device can be extended by the following
means:
Before cleaning, always remove the power plug and all
connecting cables.
Do not use any solvents, corrosive or gaseous cleaning
agents. Clean the device with a soft, lint-free cloth. Ensure
that no water droplets remain on the screen. Water can
cause permanent discoloration.
Please keep the packaging material well and use it
exclusively to transport the device.
There are no user-serviceable or user-cleanable parts
inside the device.

Recycling 8
Your device is packaged to protect it against
damage during transportation. The packaging is
manufactured from materials that can be sent to
a specialist recycling facility and disposed of in an
environmentally-friendly way.
At the end of its life, the appliance must not be
disposed of in household rubbish. Enquire about
the options for environmentally-friendly disposal.
Do not dispose of used batteries in the household
rubbish! They must be deposited at a collection
point for used batteries.
