AC POWER OPERATION
Before conneting to the power supply, ensure that the supply corresponds to the information on the
rating label on the bottom of the apparatus.
WARNINGS
Disconnect the power plug from the receptacle when not in use. To avoid the risk of electric shock,
do not remove the cover of the apparatus. There are no user serviceable parts inside. To prevent
fire or shock hazard,
do not expose the apparatus to rain or moisture.
TO SET THE CLOCK TIME
1. Set the ON/OFF/AUTO switch (1) to 'OFF'. Connect the power cord to the power supply. The clock
display will blink to indicate a power interruption and that the display time is incorrect.
2. To set the correct time, press the MINUTE button (10) or HOUR button (9) until the correct
time is displayed while pressing and holding the TIME SET button (6).
3. Open the Battery Compartment cover and fit a 9V battery. The purpose of this battery is to
store the information relating to the alarm time and to keep the clock functioning in the event of
disconnection from the power supply or power interrruption. In case of the power failure, the clock will
continue to keep time but will not display it.
THE LED DIGITAL CLOCK AND THE PROJECTION
CLOCK MUST BE SET SEPARATELY
TIME SETTING FOR PROJECTION
- To set HOUR, press simultaneously the HOUR BUTTON (21) and the TIME SET BUTTON (20).
Keep them depressed until the correct hour is displayed.
- To set MINUTE, press simultaneously the MINUTE BUTTON (22) and the TIME SET BUTTON (20).
Keep them depressed until the correct minute is displayed.
- Focus setting : To adjust the projection focus, turn the FOCUS ADJUSTMENT KNOB (23) until
the projected time
is clearly shown on the ceiling or wall.
NOTE : THE MAXIMUM PROJECTION DISTANCE IS 3-9 FEET.

TO SET OR RESET THE ALARM TIME
1. Press and hold the ALARM SET/OFF button (5).
2. While holding the ALARM SET/OFF button (5), press the HOUR button (9) and MINUTE
button (10) to advance the time until the desired alarm time is shown on the display.
TO SET THE ALARM TO WAKE TO RADIO
1. Set the alarm time as previously instructed. Select a radio station and make sure the volume level is
set as desired.
2. Slide the ON/OFF/AUTO switch (1) to the 'AUTO' position. Set the RADIO/BUZZ switch (24) to the
RADIO position. When the actual time matches the selected preset alarm time, the unit automatically
turns on for 1 hour and 59 minutes and then shuts off.
Notes :
- To shut off the alarm, press the ALARM SET/OFF button (5) once and alarm time will be reset for
the next day. Slide the ON/OFF/AUTO switch (1) to the OFF position to turn off alarm and not set
it for the next day.
- The alarm can be temporarily turned off manually by pressing the SNOOZE button (4). The radio
will turn on automatically 9 minutes later.
TO SET THE ALARM TO WAKE TO BUZZER
1. Set the alarm time as previously instructed. Set the RADIO/BUZZ switch (24) to the BUZZ position,
2. Slide the ON/OFF/AUTO switch (1) to the AUTO position. When the actual time matches the preset
alarm time, the unit automatically turns on for 1 hour and 59 minutes and then shuts off.
Notes :
- To shut off the alarm, press the ALARM SET/OFF button (5) once and alarm time will be reset for
t
he next day. Slide the ON/OFF/AUTO switch (1) to the OFF position to turn off alarm and not set
it
for the next day.
- The alarm can be temporarily turned off manually by pressing the SNOOZE button (4). The buzzer
will
turn on automatically 9 minutes later.
TO SET THE SLEEP TIME
1. Set the ON/OFF/AUTO switch (1) to 'OFF' or ‘AUTO’.
2. Press and hold the SLEEP SET button (7).
5. The radio will now operate until the sleep time has elapsed or may be switched off by pressing the
SNOOZE/SLEEP-OFF button (4).
TO TUNR ON THE RADIO
The AM radio band uses an internal antenna to receive a signal. Rotate the unit to get the best reception
for AM. For FM, ensure that the FM pig-tailed antenna is completely uncoiled and extended.
1. Set the ON/OFF/AUTO switch (1) to ‘ON’ position
2. Set the AM/FM switch (12) to the desired band.
3. Adjust the TUNING CONTROL knob (13) to select the desired station.
4. Adjust the VOLUME CONTROL knob (11).
5. To turn off the radio, set the ON/OFF/AUTO swtich (1) to ‘OFF’ position. If the radio does not
s
witch off, this may be caused by inadvertent operation of the sleep function. To cancel this, press
the
SNOOZE/SLEEP-OFF button (4) once.
Notes: To increase the sleep time over 1 hour, press the HOUR button (9) to set the hour while
holding the SLEEP SET button (7). The display will be changed to 1 hour and 59 minutes, which is
the maximum sleep time setting. Press the MINUTE button (10) to decrease the minute.
3. Press the MINUTE button (10) to set the minute while holding the SLEEP SET button (7). The sleep
time will decrease from 59 minutes to zero.
4. Release the SLEEP SET button (7) when you finish to set the sleep time.
Notes: Pressing the SLEEP SET button (7) again after setting the sleep time will reset the sleep time to
59 minutes. In this case, you need to set the sleep time again.
