RemovetheOEMheatsinkfromtheprocessor.Thenremoveheatsinkreten
tion bracket from motherboard by unscrewing the four Philips head screws
(Fig6).
Caution: backplate may fall away from motherboard. If
this occurs, remove
motherboardthenrepositionbackplateandtapeinplace.
CleanThermalCompoundfromCPUCapusingapapertoweloracleancloth
andinstallthefourprovidedstandoffsintothebackplatemountingholes(Fig
7).
Installstandoffs[PartG]intotheholesfromwhichyouremoved
theheatsink
retentionframe.
Carefullyremovemotherboardandpositionappropriatebackplate(LGA1366
[Part C] or LGA 775 [Part D]) on the underside of the board. It is recom
mended to make use of thedoublesided tape providedon the backplateto
holditinplace.Thiswillaidwith
installationprocess.

Step1:PrepareCPUandInstallBackplates
Openthesidepanelofthecomputercaseandifpossible,laythecaseonits
side.Removetheexhaustfanfromtherearofthecaseasshown(Fig3).

Important:Inordertopowerthesystem,selectanappropriate3or4pinfan
headertopowerDominoA.L.C..ConfirmthatallThermalRegulationsystems
(e.g., Smart Fan or QFan) are disabled and the header is configured to
deliver100%power.RefertoBIOSinformationinyourMotherboard
manual.
ForLGA775/1366Motherboards
Remove OEM heat sink from motherboard by turning each post counter
clockwise then pulling the post up and away from the motherboard (Fig 4).
CleanThermalCompoundfromCPUCap(IHS)usingapapertoweloraclean
cloth(Fig5).

Domino A.L.C. has 3 selectable operation modes: Quiet, Performance and
Full.The system automatically adjusts in all modes to ensure operation is
maintainedwithinsafetemperatureranges.

Domino A.L.C. is shipped with the Performance operation mode selected.
To switch operation modes, repeatedly press the Mode button until the
desired mode is displayed on the display. The corresponding number of
beepswillsoundtoconfirmtheselection.
ChangingTemperatureScale
DominoA.L.C.isshippedwiththeCelsiustemperaturescaleactivated.To
switchtoFahrenheit,proceedasfollows:
PressandholdtheModebutton.After3secondsthedisplaywillflash
onetemperaturescalethentheother.
ReleasetheModebuttonwhenthedesiredtemperaturescaleisshown.
INSTALLATIONPROCEDURE
Step3:MountingFHE
RemovethedisposablepackagingfromtheFHE[PartB]toexposethelayerof
thermalconductingpaste.Avoidtouchingthesurfaceofthepaste.
OrientingtheRadiatorModule[PartA]closetoitsfinalmountingposition at
the rear chassis fan location, position the FHE over the CPU. Ensure the
mounting
screwsarealignedwiththecorrespondingholesinthebackplate.
Step2:Prepareretentionbrackets
DominoA.L.C.isshippedreadyforinstallationintoLGA775basedsystems.
ForLGA1366basedsystems:

outer holes in Intel CPU Retention
Bracket(Fig8)
ForAMDbasedsystems:
Remove pin/spring assemblies from
IntelRetentionBracketandreinstall
intoAMDRetentionBracket[PartE]

Thread each of the four screws one full turn to secure in position (Fig 11).
Oncethesystemisinplace,threadeachscrewacoupleofturnsfollowinga
cross or X pattern. Repeat pattern until all four screws are fully seated (Fig
12).

Step5:Checkyourwork
Oncetheinstallationiscomplete,recheckallconnectionsandensurethatthe
RadiatorModuleandFHEaresecurelymountedinsideyourPCchassis.
Beforereplacingthechassiscover, restorepower,turnonthecomputerand
ensure that the Domino A.L.C. fan and pump are running (a slight vibration
shouldbefelt
whenyoutouchthepump).
Onceithasbeenconfirmedthatthe system has beeninstalled correctly, re
placethechassiscoverandbeginrealizingthebenefitsofquietcooling!
Step4:PowerConnection
Connect the 3pin connector on the Radiator Module to the 3– or 4pin fan
headeridentifiedinStep1.
