Use the multifunctional switch for switching between different modes.
● Power on / off: Fully press the switch to turn the Noctic Focus® on / off.
● Operating the different modes: To switch between the 5 modes (Strong beam, Medium
beam, Soft beam, Flash, SOS), gently press the multifunctional switch half way. Turning the
flashlight on within 10 seconds after it has been turned off, will make the flashlight turn on
in the next mode.
● Strong beam reset: When the Noctic Focus® is off for over 10 seconds, it automatically
turns on the strong beam when turned on.

● Zoom in: Push the lens outwards. When fully zoomed in, the shape of the super LED can be
seen on the projected surface.
● Zoom out: Pull the lens inwards.

INSERTING THE BATTERY
● Unscrew the end cap, then insert the batteries correctly inside the Noctic Focus® flashlight.
Chose:
1x 18860 lithium ion battery:
- Insert the battery in the plastic battery encapsulator.
- Insert the encapsulator in the flashlight, with the + pole pointed inwards.
OR
3x AAA batteries:
- Place the AAA batteries inside the AAA adapter.
- Insert the adapter in the flashlight, with the arrow pointing inwards.
● Screw the end cap tightly back on the flashlight.
IMPORTANT NOTES
● Fully charge the 18860 lithium ion battery before first usage.
● If using AAA batteries, do not combine new batteries with old ones.
● Remove batteries during storage and transport, to extend battery life.
● Dispose of the used batteries properly.
BATTERIES
The Noctic Focus® has a IPX5 waterproofness rating: it can be used in any weather condition.
● Do not subject the flashlight to saline or high alkane fluids.
● Do not submerge the flashlight in water.
● Do not use the flashlight at temperatures above 60°C.
● At very cold temperatures, battery life will be diminished.
CONDITIONS OF USE
● A responsible adult must supervise use by children under the age of 12.
● Do not stare directly into the beam or shine it directly into other’s eyes. Intense light can
damage your eyes, or the eyes of those around you.
● Always inspect the flashlight for proper operation prior to using and, for critical situations,
carry a second light and sufficient spare batteries.
WARNINGS
● Ensure that the flashlight is clean and dry before and after each use. Do not store a wet
flashlight.
● If the flashlight fell into water, switch it off, take out the batteries, and air dry it thoroughly.
If water penetrated the lens, carefully unscrew it, and air dry it.
● Wipe the flashlight with soft fabric after using it.
● In case of corrosion causing roughness on the flashlight’s zoom movement, clear and air it.
Use a small amount of silicon grease to smoothen the operation of the zoom.
● If the flashlight has been exposed to saline water, the salt has to be cleaned off the
flashlight to prevent corrosion. Use small quantities of fresh water if necessary.
● Do not clean the flashlight in a washing machine, dishwasher, or with a high pressure hose.
● Do not scrub with abrasive substances or surfaces.
● If the battery contacts are corroded, remove the corrosion by sanding lightly with a fine-

This product comes with a 30 days money back warranty, and a limited 3 year warranty.
The 30 days money back warranty allows the buyer to return the product within 30 days of
reception of the product, without any need for explanation. At Noctic® we are confident that
our products will procure the greatest satisfaction; and if not, we will accept returns within 30
days with no questions asked.
The 3 year limited warranty ensures that the product is free from defects in materials and
manufacturing. Please visit www.noctic.com/help for instructions on how to return the product
in the event there is a product defect. The warranty excludes normal wear and tear. The
warranty is voided in the event of unauthorized alterations, improper use or care, or from
accidents.
The warranty is limited to replacement of the product. Noctic® is not liable for direct, indirect,
incidental or other types of damages arising out of, or resulting from the use of its product. This

After pressing the multifunction switch, the flashlight does not work:
● Check if the batteries are entered correctly inside the flashlight or the AAA adapter.
● If using the AAA adapter, make sure the arrow on the adapter is facing inwards the
flashlight.
● If using the 18860 Lithium Ion battery, make sure it has been placed inside the battery
encapsulator, with the + pole facing inwards.
● If using a 18860 Lithium Ion battery, make sure it is charged.
● If charging does not work, try replacing the batteries.
