FEATURES AND DESCRIPTION OF THE

DEVICE

Small, smart Wi-Fi universal controller that can control all

the infra-red devices in your home.

Smart Wi-Fi universal controller that can:

Control your infra-red devices (TVs, Air-conditioning,

TDTs, DVDs…) remotely.

Send infra-red signals at an angle of 360º.

Combine all the remote controllers in your house in one.

Fully controlled from the app.

USE OF THE INFRA-RED CONTROLLER

Connect the micro USB cable to the port of the SPC HORUS

device.

Connect the USB cable to any adaptor (e.g. mobile device)

and plug it in as usual.

DOWNLOAD THE SPC IOT APP FROM APPLE STORE

OR PLAY STORE

Look for the SPC IoT app in your market, download and

install it. If you prefer, you can read the following QR code

which will take you to our web page, where you can nd the

links to your market. Download and install the app.

SET UP AN ACCOUNT

The rst time you open the SPC IoT app, you will have to

create an account.

Enter your geographical region and telephone number

or email account.

You will receive a security code by SMS or email

(depending on the data you provided). Enter it in the

corresponding space.

Enter a password with between 6 and 20 characters,

including numbers and letters.

CREATE YOUR FAMILY AND ROOMS IN YOUR HOME

Assign a name to your family

Select the rooms you want to be shown

ADD A DEVICE

Choose the type of product you want to add, which in

this case is a “Infra-red controller”.

SYNCHRONIZE YOUR DEVICE WITH THE SPC IOT APP

Disconnect and reconnect your device for the universal

controller to start its search mode. The universal

controller will start to ash a rapid red light (2 times per

second).

If the device does not start in search mode, press the

reset button for 5 seconds.

Select the “Conrm” option in the app.

Enter the Wi-Fi password for your home or select the

network if you are not connected.

You will see a time with a percentage, and in a few

seconds your universal controller will have been

correctly added. If you cannot synchronize your

universal controller, repeat the process again.

You can now add the remote controller from the add

panel by pressing the “+” button.

CONTROL PANEL

Then select the type of remote controller you want to add,

where:

TV: television remote controllers.

Air-conditioning: remote controllers for air-conditioning

systems

DIY: personalized remote controllers. (TDT, TV, DVD, Hi-Fi

systems, air-conditioning, or a combination of these)

TV or Air-conditioning:

Select the brand of your TV or air-conditioning from the pull

down list:

Ensure that your device responds to at least 3 different

buttons on the virtual controller.

Once conrmed, press the “Working” button to end the

installation successfully.

DIY:

Place the remote controller to clone around 3 cm from the

SPC Horus universal controller and press the “Next step”

button.

Press next again and you will see how the universal

controller is ready to receive the signal to clone. Press

the button on the original controller to be cloned until the

application indicates that it has detected the signal.
