Important notice for placing the device
Placing
Every electrical device is warming up. The warming of the receiver is in a harmless area but still can
cause a discolouring of sensitive furniture during time. Also the receiver’s feet could discolour the
surface of furniture. Please avoid this by placing a pad underneath the receiver.
Ventilation
The emerging heat of the receiver is led away sufficiently. Never place the box inside a cabinet or a
shelf with insufficient ventilation. Never obstruct the air vents of the receiver. Do not place anything on
top of the receiver and keep at least 40 cm space above it. Always make sure that air can ventilate
from the device.
Wetness, Sunlight, Heat
Protect the receiver of wetness, splashed and dripped water. Never place the device next to a heater
or into direct sunlight.
Power Supply
Use the receiver only with the included power supply unit at 230V / 50 Hz. Connect the receiver at first
with the antenna, then with the TV, and only then with the power supply.
Grounding

The ideal setting here depends on the faculties of your TV or video set.

+ S-VIDEO.

In addition there is further other information contained inside the transport stream.
The information menu displays the technical transmission parameters as well as other information of
the DVB transmission at the current station.
Inside the window you can switch channels by pressing the
[UP] (13) or [DOWN] (16) keys. The
displayed information will automatically be updated after switching a channel.
Program: Shows the channel number and station name transferred in the transport
stream of the current selected program or data service.
Satellite: Name of the satellite on which the program is broadcasted.
Transponder: Information about the transponder which is broadcasting the currently chosen
program.
Provider: Contains the station provider name.
Service ID: Contains the identification number for the part of the transport stream that
contains the information of the current selected station.
Teletext PID: Address (PID) of the part in the data stream under which the teletext is
transported.
Audio PID: Address (PID) of the audio stream for the current selected program inside the
data stream.
