SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Product description

This product is a portable smartphone holder with an integrated battery and a cableless QI charging station. You can connect all mobile devices with Qi support to

the charging station. A second device with a USB cable (not included in the scope of delivery) can also be charged via the USB port. The COM/UNIT can be charged

using a USB Micro-B cable and a suitable USB charger or via the COMPIT holder in connection with a suitable ebike (not included in the scope of delivery).

SHORT INSTRUCTIONS

COM/UNIT – charging the smartphone without a cable:

1. Press the POWER button on the side of the COM/UNIT. The blue LED on the right shows that the station is switched on and the orange LEDs of the battery

indicator start to illuminate.

2. Place or dock your smartphone or mobile device with Qi support on the COM/UNIT and start the charging process.

3. Ensure that your smartphone is placed on the SKS logo in the centre. The blue LED start to ash rapidly should this not be the case. This means that an error has

occurred during the charging process. In this case, remove your smartphone from the COM/UNIT and position it correctly.

COM/UNIT – charging the smartphone with a cable via the USB port:

1. Connect the USB cable to the output socket of the COM/UNIT and then connect it to your tablet computer or smartphone.

Charging the COM/UNIT:

1. Connect the USB cable (not included in the scope of delivery) with the micro-USB port. Charge the COM/UNIT with a suitable charger. As an alternative, the COM/

UNIT can also be charged via the COMPIT holder in connection with a suitable ebike (not included in the scope of delivery).

2. All four of the orange LEDs illuminate when the COM/UNIT battery is fully charged. The anticipated charging duration is 6+ hours (depending on the charger).

BASIC SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Avoid res, explosions or electric shocks. Severe or mortal injuries resulting from an explosion,

re or electric shock are possible should the product not be used correctly.

• Check whether the voltage stated on the power adapter is the same as the local mains voltage before you connect the adapter to the power supply.

• Always only use authorised power adapters.

• Do not use the COMPIT or +COM/UNIT power adapter should it be damaged.

• Never open the housing of the COM/UNIT. Always have repair work carried out by qualied specialists.

• Do not adhere any metallic labels or other objects to the +COM/UNIT.

• Do not use the +COM/UNIT close to heated surfaces.

• Do not use an extension cable or overloaded multiple sockets.

• Ensure that children and persons with a mental handicap only use the +COM/UNIT under supervision.

Avoid a cardiac pacemaker or other implant failure

The use of the +COM/UNIT can result in a cardiac pacemaker or other implant failure.

• Should you have a cardiac pacemaker or another implant, please consult your doctor or the implant manufacturer before using the +COM/UNIT.

WARRANTY DECLARATION

SKS metaplast Scheffer-Klute GmbH GERMANY provides a 2-year warranty as from the date of purchase in the scope of the legal provisions for all parts that are

included in the scope of delivery (proof with the purchase receipt). Wearing parts are excluded – this especially being the +COM/UNIT battery unit. This is covered

by a 6 months SKS GERMANY warranty. An incorrect handling or wrong use excludes a liability for defects.

DISPOSING OF THE PRODUCT

In Germany

• Sort the product packaging and dispose of it accordingly. Make use of the local possibilities for the collection of paper, cardboard and lightweight packaging.

• The product and the accessories are not to be disposed of in the household waste. You can obtain information

on collection points that accept old products free of charge, from your local authority.

Outside Germany

• Dispose of the product and the packaging conform with the provisions that have validity for the place of use.
