Quick Installation Guide
Hardware Overview
This product is intended for indoor use and to be supplied by a UL listed power supply marked "Class 2" or
IEEE 802.3af compliant.

Installation
CAUTION: Verint will not be held liable for damages to persons or properties due to the improper installation
of the Nextiva V3320RD IP camera.
1. Attach the supplied template sticker to the ceiling.
2. Cut a round hole with a diameter of Ø84mm in the ceiling.
3. Connect the network cable to the network port.
4. Pull up the three brackets, and insert the camera into the hole. The brackets will automatically attach to
the ceiling.
NOTE: The thickness of the mounting surface should not be greater than 36mm (1.02 in).
5. Adjust the viewing angle.

6. Attach the lens cover.
7. Screw the cover to the camera body.
Restoring Factory Default Settings
The IP camera comes with the following factory default values:
IP Address: DHCP enabled
If the DHCP configuration fails, the IP camera assigns itselfs a temporary APIPA address: 169.254.X.Y.
(where X and Y are based on the last two octets of the MAC Address.
Username and Password: admin
From a web browser From the rear of the device
1. Type the IP address of the Nextiva IP camera in the Address bar, and
then press ENTER.
2. Type the username and password.
3. Click Configuration > System > Maintenance.
4. From the Set to Factory Default section, choose one of the
following:
Return all camera settings to factory default except network
Return all camera settings to factory default.
5. Click Default.
Press and hold DEFAULT for
five seconds to return to
factory default.

Using SConfigurator
To discover the device using SConfigurator:
1. Download the latest version of SConfigurator
(http://verint.com/solutions/video-situation-
intelligence/resources/index).
2. Open SConfigurator.
3. Select the Units tab, then click Discover.
4. Select the Nextiva IP camera model, and click
Configure.
5. In the tree view, click Network > IP.
6. Select Use the following IP address.
7. In the IP Address box, type the IP address for the
IP camera.
8. In the Subnet Mask box, type the address
specifying the subnet in which the IP address
belongs.
9. In the Gateway box, type the IP address of the
server that acts as an access point to another
network.
NOTE: You do not need to use a gateway if the IP
camera communicates with other devices on
the same subnet.
10.In the Host Name box, type a unique name for the
IP camera.
11. Click OK to close the dialog box.
12.Click Exit to close SConfigurator.
Adding to EdgeVR

To add to an EdgeVR:
1. Open the Auto Config Cameras page
From Vid-Center, click Setup DVRs in the Task
Center pane, and then double-click Auto Config
Cameras in the Task Actions pane.
From Vid-Center Embedded, click Setup/
Admin, double-click Auto Config Cameras.
From the EdgeVR Setup menu, double-click
EdgeVR Setup, go to page 3, then double-click
Auto Config Cameras.
2. In the editable IP boxes, type the numerical
representation of the remaining octets of the IP
address you want to assign to the device.
NOTE: The number of configurable octets depends on
the subnet mask where the camera has been
discovered.
3. From the Camera Num list, assign a camera
number.
4. Click OK.
5. In the Camera Setup page, verify that all the
information is correct.
Adding to Nextiva VMS
For complete information, refer to Technical Note:
TN700 Verint IP Camera Integration in Nextiva VMS.
To add to Nextiva VMS:
1. Launch Nextiva Control Center.
2. Using the System Setup Wizard in Control Center,
assign the camera to physical and logical groups.
3. View the Physical Settings for the camera.
4. Define a Video Profile if the camera introduces
high resolutions.
5. Assign the camera to a Recording Profile.
6. View and configure the Logical Settings for the
camera.
7. Configure the camera in Nextiva VMS Virtual
Matrix if you are adding it to a tour or salvo.
8. Add the camera to a Nextiva VMS Event Manager
scenario in order to trigger an automatic response
for an event recorded by the camera.
