INSTALLATION

1. Turn off your computer and disconnect all external

peripheral devices and cables, i.e. power cord,

network cable, monitor, etc.

2. Remove your computer’s cover. For most standard

PC’s, there are screws that will need to be

unseated before you can remove the computer’s

cover, and these screws are usually located at the

rear of the computer, along the edge of the cover.

However, placement of these screws and cover

attachment may vary by manufacturer, so please

refer to your computer system’s manual for

specific details.

3. Once you have removed the cover, you will need

to locate the PCIe slots on the motherboard. The

PCIe slots are generally located in the back of the

computer, with the slots built into the side-wall of

the computer ( please refer to your computer

system’s manual for the exact location of your

PCIe slots or refer to the diagram in this page. If

necessary, you may need to remove the expansion

slot cover, and you may also need to remove any

add-in boards which may block the access to the

PCIe slots. (2-Port PCI-e SuperSpeed USB 3.0

Host Card will fit and work with any PCI Express

slot whether it be a x1, x4, x8, x16 slot.

Performance may vary with each slot.)

INSTALLATION

4. Take the TransImp 2 Ports USB 3.0 PCI-E Host

Card out of its anti-static bag and push the card

into the empty PCIe card slot. The card should be

mounted with the circuitry facing down. This is the

only way to mount the card, so if you are having

problems inserting the card into the PCIe slot,

make sure that it is oriented correctly. Be sure that

the gold contact pins of the PCIe card are seated

completely inside your computer’s PCIe slot. Be

aware that it may take some force to get the card

fully seated in the slot.

5. Once the PCI card is seated correctly, tighten

with a screw.

6. Connect 4-pin power to the power connector

7. Now you are ready to put the computer’s cover

back on and reconnect all of your external

peripheral devices and cables.

SOFTWARE INSTALLATION

1. Insert the driver CD-ROM, and run installation

Setup.exe (Pic-1) in “Driver” folder to start the

installation.

2. Select “Next”(Pic-2) and click (I accept

the terms of the licence agreement) .

Then click “Next”(Pic-3)

3. Click “INSTALL” (Pic-4)

DRIVER INSTALLATION

4. When installation of the driver (Pic-5) is

complete, click “Finish” to end the

installation. (Pic-6)

硬體安裝

(1) 將您的電腦關機並移除電源線以及所有的

周邊裝置，像是網路線螢幕線等等......

(2) 將您電腦的蓋板打開.多數的標準個人電腦

，在打開蓋板前需先移除螺絲，通常螺絲

的位置在電腦後方沿著蓋板的邊緣上。然

而螺絲與蓋板的位置可能因為製造商而有

所不同，詳細請參考您電腦的使用手冊。

(3) 當打開蓋板之後，找到位於主機板上未使

用的PCI Express插槽。PCI Express插槽

通常位於電腦後方靠近擋板的地方。

(正確PCI Express插槽位置請參考您電腦

的使用手冊或是本頁的插圖，萌科技勁速

2-Port PCI-e USB 3.0 介面卡可以安裝在

任何x1、x4、x8、x16的PCI Express插槽

效能可能會因為插槽而有所不同)

(4) 將萌科技勁速2-Port PCI-e USB 3.0 介面

卡從防靜電袋中拿出，接頭(金手指)朝下

插入未使用的PCI Express插槽。安裝完成

請確認介面卡的接頭(金手指)完全插入PCI

Express插槽。

(5) 當PCI Express插槽介面卡正確安裝之後，

將螺絲鎖緊。

(6) 將4-Pin電源線連接到電源接頭。

(7) 現在即可將電腦的蓋板裝上並連接您所有

的周邊裝置與纜線。

軟體安裝

1. 將驅動程式光碟置入光碟機，進入＂Driver＂資

料夾雙擊 Setup.exe (圖-1)即可開始安裝。

2. 點選＂下一步＂(圖-2)，點選＂我接受授權合約

的條款＂再點選＂下一步＂。(圖-3)

3. 點選＂安裝＂開始安裝。 (圖-4)
