Installing Mister Fan Retro-Fit Kit

1. Be sure that fan power cord is disconnected from power source.

2. Remove rear guard (the guard opposite from the fan blade)

3. Disconnect original power cord from the motor

4. Install new power cord with the GFI plug

5. Install new rear guard. Guard will fit inside the fan housing up tight to the motor

housing. Using guard as a template locate and drill 4 holes using a 3/16" drill. Use 4

10-24 screws with locknuts to secure guard. (Note: if you are installing this kit on an

explosion proof motor, some guard modification may be necessary)

6. Refer to the drawing to locate holes to be made in shroud to accommodate mister

nozzles and hold down clamps (6 holes). Mister tube is installed on the exhaust side

of unit (opposite the fan blade) with the water supply line connection oriented

opposite the power cord location. Attach tube with 3 conduit clamps, 1/4-20 screws

and locknuts.
