M Series Stacking Frame Flange Bearing
Replacement Instruction Sheet
INTRODUCTION:
This procedure applies to all M Series Models. The instructions explain how to remove and replace the
feet of yaw, roll/pitch adjusters of the stacking frame PN 000-101108-01.
SAFETY CRITICAL ASSEMBLY! These work instructions must only be performed
by an accredited service technician.
KIT REQUIRED
Flange Bearing Kit; Christie PN 003-002850-XX (Refer to Figure 1 & Figure 2)
*Top spacer may not be present on some models. In this case replace bottom spacer only.

TOOLS REQUIRED
Allen Keys (4mm & 5mm)
Torque Wrench with M4 & M5 Allen heads
242 Loctite®
Wrench (17mm)
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1
Remove and retain the 2 X M5x25mm LG
Socket Head Cap Screws.
Step 2
Remove and retain the M10 Nut (Nylok)
by holding the knurled head in one hand
and using a 17mm wrench to remove the
nut.
Step 3
Re-assemble as shown and add the new
Bearing Holder Assembly in between the
two new aluminum spacers provided.
NOTE: Top spacer may not be present on
some models. In this case replace the bottom
spacer only.

Step 4
Secure the Nylok nut; avoid over tighten-
ing, as it may damage the spacers. NOTE:
Ensure there is no axial play in the assembly.
Ensure there are no gaps between the alumi-
num spacers, the shoulder of the threaded rod
and the nut.
Step 5
Apply 242 Loctite® to 2 X M5x25mm LG
fasteners and turn them into the slotted
holes in the Bearing Holder Assembly to
mate with the Stacking Frame. Torque the
fasteners to 2.4 N*m (21.2 lb*in).
Step 6
The yaw adjuster is assembled similarly,
but the existing M5 Socket Head Cap
Screws are replaced with M5x25mm LG
Socket Head Cap Screws. Apply 2.4 N*m
(21.2 lb*in) of torque and 242 Loctite®.
