Assembly Instructions
Step 1
Verify Parts
Tool Kit•
Front Mounting Rod Long (1)•
Middle Mounting Rod Medium (1)•
Back Mounting Rod Short (1)•
Cross Rod (1)•
Media Rod and Wheel•
Front Legs (2)•
Back Legs (2)•
Leg Brackets (2)•
Exit Tray•
Tilt Bracket•
Step 2
Remove the•
Conveyor and the
Stand from the
box
Lay the Conveyor•
on the fl oor or
workbench
Step 3
Attach the two leg•
mounting brackets using
the bolts and tighten
Brackets are facing in as •
shown
Step 4
Take the nuts and washers off the Z-Bar Mounting Rod•
Slide the Rod through each leg•
Install the fl at washer and nut•
Step 5
Take the nut, washer, •
and two locking collars
off the longest Mounting
Rod
Slide the Rod through•
the leg brace and then
through the hole in the
leg
Step 6
Slide the two locking collars•
onto the Mounting Rod. Do not
tighten
Step 7
Slide the Mounting Rod•
through the second leg and
then through the second
leg mounting bracket
Install the fl at washer and•
acorn nut onto the
Mounting Rod and tighten
Step 8
Slide a collar fi rm against•
the legs
Tighten using the•
appropriate tool
Repeat for the second•
collar

Step 9
Move to the other end of•
the conveyor and install the
two back legs
Position the leg on the•
inside of the mounting
bracket and oriented so
that the notch in the tube is
inside the conveyor
Slide the short Mounting•
Rod through the bracket
and hole in the leg
Step 10
Slide the locking collars•
onto the Mounting Rod, do
not tighten
Slide the Mounting Rod•
through the second leg and
then through the mounting
bracket
Install the washer and•
acorn nut and tighten
Slide the collars fi rm•
against the legs and tighten
using the appropriate tool
Step 11
Install the center Mounting Rod.•
Note the position of the front and
back leg intersection
Slide the locking collars onto the•
Mounting Rod and slide through
the second pair of legs
Install the washer and acorn nut•
and tighten
Slide the collars fi rm against the•
legs and tighten using the
appropriate tool
Step 12
Remove the 4 bolts in•
the end of the conveyor
Place the exit tray into•
position and install the
4 bolts and tighten
Step 14
Slide the conveyor into •
position as shown
Align the tilt bracket to •
slide between the printer
and table top
Pull the conveyor away •
from the printer holding
the tilt bracket in position
and tighten
Notice that the conveyor •
is tight against the
Ilumina
Step 15
Install the Media Rod and •
Wheel
Step 16
Connect the Conveyor’s •
9-pin power cable to the
9-pin connector on the
back of the Ilumina
The Exit Conveyor is now ready for use. Notice that the conveyor runs
only when needed.
To test the Conveyor, set the speed control knob on the front of the
Ilumina Press to Maximum. Power the Ilumina Press on and wait for the
Ready message on the front panel.
Lift the exit sensor arm and release. The conveyor will advance about 1”
(25mm) and stop.
The Conveyor will run each time the exit sensor arm is raised. Adjust
the advance distance using the speed control on the front of the Ilumina
Press.
Step 13
Remove the 2 bolts in•
the end of the conveyor
Place the tilt bracket•
into position and install
the 2 bolts do not
tighten
