The Aimon HP Mixer/ Amplifier is specifically engineered for serious online gamers in mind. AIMON HP is the only choice when
every moment is critical and the communication is the key vital factor that decides winning and losing. If you play fast paced
tactical team based games online the AIMON HP gives you a real edge over your competition. The AIMON HP allows you to use
any headphone of your choice. In addition, the AIMON HP allows you to play games without interfering others in your household.
You can play games for a long time without the need of charging any batteries with this wired Mixer/Amplifier solution. AIMON HP
connects to your own headphone, it is very versatile you can have your choice of using your High end headphone or inexpensive
headset.
The AIMON HP has up to four types of audio inputs that can be connected. It can mix three audio input sources and amplify the
signal. Three audio inputs to the Mixer can be adjusted - Digital, Line In and AUX input.
You can plug AIMON HP into your pc as a usb sound card as an extra feature.

Getting Know about the AIMON HP unit:

Master Volume Control/Setup/Power knob
Adjust the headphone output volume and settings;
Press to select and adjust audio volume, gain and
tone; Turn on/Off the Power.
Headphone Output Jack
Standard 3.5mm headphone jack.
Microphone Input Jack
Standard 3.5mm microphone jack.
AUX Jack - Microphone Ouput and Line In ( Used for XBOX360 only)
Connect to XBOX360 Controller to pass through the online
voice.
Indicator LEDs
Indicate selected audio channel, tone and
amplifier gain to be adjusted and mode.
Power / Volume Indication Light Ring
Indicates the power and volume with brightness.

Optical Digital Audio Input - S/PDIF
Optical digital audio input jack;
44.1KHz and 48KHz sampling rate supported.
Coaxial Digital Audio Input - S/PDIF
Coaxial digital audio input jack;
44.1KHz and 48KHz sampling rate supported.
Optical Digital Audio Output - S/PDIF
Optical Digital audio output when you have other
speaker amplifier or Receiver to hook up (Works when
the Optical Digital Input is connected only).

Standard RCA jack for stereo audio input.

Getting Know about the AIMON HP unit:
Note:
Only one of the optical and coaxial can be the input source at a time, the Optical input has the priority if both
the optical and coaxial cable are connected.

Connect to PC as USB sound card or other audio device (optional):
You can connect AIMON HP to any audio device that have optical, coaxial or Line Out output. When plugged into
the PC USB Port, AIMON HP will work as a sound card with headphone output and microphone input.
Setup PS3 for AIMON HP:
1. On the PS3 console main menu:
Go to Settings -> Accessory Settings -> Audio Device Settings.
-> In the “Audio Input Device” option:
Select the “USB Audio Device”, then adjust the “microphone level” as desired;
-> In the “Audio Output Device” option:
Select “System Default Device” (Recommended) or “USB Audio
Device”.
2. On the PS3 console main menu:
Go to Settings -> Sound Settings -> Audio Output Settings:
Select the “Optical Digital” as your audio output, and leave all the check box blank
(The “Linear PCM 44.1KHz” and “Linear PCM 48KHz” unchangeable.)
3. If you have your Receiver connected for a speaker system:
From the PS3 console main menu:
Go to Settings -> Sound Settings -> Audio Output Settings:
Select “Audio Multi-Output” to be “ON”.

The the older DVD Player model or Receiver may not
have the USB port for AIMON HP power supply, a
5V/500mA USB power adapter is needed (not
included)

Setup XBOX360 for AIMON HP:
On the XBOX360 main menu:
Go to Console Settings-> Audio -> Digital Output:
Select the “Digital Stereo” digital output data format.
Setup PC or other audio source to for AIMON HP:
1. For AIMON HP working as USB sound card on PC, select the “USB audio device” as your audio output and micro
phone input in your device manager window.
2. For other audio sources, setup your audio device digital output format to 44.1KHz or 48KHz PCM stereo.
Operate your AIMON HP:
2. Headphone master volume:
Turn the knob to adjust headphone volume. The luminance of the LED light ring indicates the volume level.
3. Setup and adjust audio level :
The settings of Digital Audio input level, Line In/AUX In audio level, amplifier gain and tone can be adjusted.
All the settings will be stored into the memory, it will recalled when it is powered up again.
The amplifier gain is for adjusting the output power for different headphone speaker size in order to get the best
dynamic range. In most cases the default factory setting is optimal. It is adjusted ONLY when you hook up a very
large low sensitivity headphone or very small phone.
a. Press the knob to enter Select mode and then turn the knob to select setting to be adjusted, the LED indicates
which setting is selected.
1. Power On/Off:
The AIMON HP will automatically turn on when powered up. To turn the Aimon HP off, press and hold the knob for
3 seconds. To turn the AIMON HP On again when it is off, press the knob.

b. Press the knob again to enter Adjustment Mode, then turn the knob to adjust. The LED ring is flashing and
the luminance indicates the volume.
4. Exit from adjustment:
AIMON HP will automatically exit the Adjustment mode after 10 seconds, or exit the Select Mode after 5
seconds without any knob activity. Double press the knob to exit from any mode immediately.
5. Reset:
To reset all of the settings to factory default, press the knob while the USB is plugged into the port. Note that the
USB port must have the power on for the AIMON HP to reset.
Note:
When adjusting the Line In, AUX input
volume is adjusted as well.
