Indications:
• Short-term provisional coverage
• Premolars and molars
Tooth Preparation:
• Prepare tooth and determine mesio-distal width.
• Select appropriate crown and trial fit.
Crown Preparation:
• Seat crown on preparation. If gingival
blanching occurs, trim crown using a
3M
ESPE
Crown Scissors. Reseat in
mouth and establish occlusion.
• Contour crown using a 3M
ESPE
Contouring Pliers.
• Crimp crown margin using a 3M
ESPE
Crimping Pliers. Reseat and
check fit.
• Outline margin with pencil and trim
crown back to this line using scissors.

Gold Anodized Crowns
• Smooth and polish, as required, using
3M
ESPE
Sof-Lex
Finishing and
Polishing Discs, stone, and rubber
wheel.
Crown Cementation:
• Mix cement and fill crown, assuring
voids are not present in cement.
Note: For custom margins and extended
durability, line crown with acrylic or
resin material.
• Seat crown and allow the cement to set.
• Remove excess cement with scaler or
explorer. Floss interproximal areas.
