CINCH
®
MULTI-PURPOSE REDUCER WITH
SNAPTRACK INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
STEP 1 - CLEAN: Make sure the surface is
clean, dust-free and dry. To enhance the
adhesion, we recommend the surface be
sealed or primed prior to adhering
SnapTrack (with adhesive tape) onto the
surface.
STEP 2 - CUT: Measure both Cinch
Multi-Purpose Reducer and SnapTrack to
intended length. Cut Cinch Multi-Purpose
Reducer with a hacksaw or power saw. The
SnapTrack is cut most easily with tin snips.
STEP 3 - PEEL & ADHERE: Peel away the film
backing from SnapTrack, exposing the
adhesive. Position SnapTrack above the
seam (a minimum 1/2" gap required). Place
the SnapTrack into the gap (seam) and apply
firm and consistent pressure across the
SnapTrack in order to properly adhere to the
surface. Wait 10 minutes before next step.
STEP 4 - SNAP INTO PLACE: After the
SnapTrack has been in position for 10
minutes, position Reducer over the
SnapTrack. The higher Reducer leg should be
positioned over the taller floor surface and
the lower Reducer leg positioned over the
shorter floor surface. Starting at one end,
place the Reducer into the SnapTrack and
continue “snapping” the Reducer
(length-wise) into the Track. Apply pressure
across the Reducer until Reducer is in place
and both edges of Reducer are snug and in
position on top of the two adjoining floors.
Note: The Cinch Multi-Purpose Reducer
utilizes a SnapTrack to create a bridge
between two uneven floors. Minimum floor
height: 2mm. Maximum floor height: 8mm.
The provided Cinch SnapTrack needs a
minimum 1/2" of floor or substrate surface
(seam) width for proper adhesion to the
surface.
Note: Do not install Cinch Reducer with
SnapTrack below 50° F.
