INSTALLATION & MAINTENANCE MANUAL
TRKAD1xx SERIES
These instructions should be read carefully and retained after installation by the
end user for future reference and maintenance.
These instructions should be used to aid installation of the following products:
TRKAD1BK / TRKAD1S / TRKAD1W
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
SAFETY
This product must be installed in accordance with the latest edition of the IEE Wiring
Regulations (BS7671) and current Building Regulations. If in any doubt, consult a
qualified electrician
• Please isolate mains prior to installation or maintenance
• Check the total load on the circuit (including when this luminaire is fitted) does not exceed
the rating of the circuit cable, fuse or circuit breaker
• Please note the IP (Ingress Protection) rating of this luminaire when deciding the location
for installation
A maximum weight of 5kg can be supported by this product
This product is for indoor use only
This product is Class I and requires an earth
This product series is IP20 rated
INSTALLATION
• Provide powered track to the required point of installation
• Remove the 2 screws securing the terminal cover (see Fig. 1)
• Remove the 2 loose ring terminals and the 2 pieces of heat shrink from inside the fitting
(see Fig. 2)

Installation of this product should only be carried out by a qualified electrician or competent person to the
latest Building and current IEE Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
Please isolate mains prior to installation/maintenance
Check the total load on the circuit (including when this product is fitted) does not exceed the rating of the
circuit cable, fuse or circuit breaker
Please note the IP (Ingress of Protection) rating of this luminaire when deciding the location for installation
This product is Class I and must be earthed
This product is IP20 rated
INSTALLATION
Provide powered track to the required point of installation
Remove the 2 screws securing the terminal cover (see Fig 1)
Remove the 2 loose ring terminals and the 2 pieces of heat shrink from inside the fitting (See Fig 2)

Remove the 2 screws
Place heat shrink onto the Live and Neutral wires and crimp the ring terminals securely onto the wires
(see Fig 3)

Once the crimp terminals have be secured to the 2 wires, pull the heat shrink over the crimped area and
shrink with a heat gun (see Fig 4)

Remove the 2 screws from the Live and Neutral terminals and ensuring that correct polarity is observed
terminate Live (brown) Neutral (blue) to the screw terminals (see Fig 5)

Place heat shrink onto the Live and Neutral wires and crimp the ring terminals securely
onto the wires (see Fig. 3)
Once the crimp terminals have been secured to the 2 wires, pull the heat shrink over the
crimped area and shrink with a heat gun (see Fig. 4)

• Remove the 2 screws from the Live and Neutral terminals, and ensuring correct polarity
is observed, terminate Live (brown) Neutral (blue) to the screw terminals (see Fig. 5)
• Refit the terminal cover and fasten down the 2 screws
• Ensuring track polarity is observed, lock the fitting into the track
• Switch on and check for correct operation

(see Fig 3)

WARRANTY
This product has a warranty of 2 years from the date of purchase. Failure to install this
product in accordance with the current edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations (BS7671),
improper use, or removal of the batch code will invalidate the warranty. If this product
should fail within its warranty period, it should be returned to the place of purchase for a
free of charge replacement. ML Accessories does not accept responsibility for any installation
costs associated with the replacement product. Your statutory rights are not affected. ML
Accessories reserve the right to alter product specification without prior notice
GENERAL
The product should be recycled in the correct manner when it reaches the end of its life.
Check local authorities for where facilities exist.
Clean with a soft dry cloth only, do not use aggressive cleaning products or solvents which
may damage the product.
This product is dimmable subject to lamp source.
