Thermopile Instructions
Turn off the gas supply to the equipment
prior to servicing.
1. Disconnect the lead wire of the thermopile from the
gas valve.
2. From the pilot burner, un-screw the nut adapter or
pull out clip adapters.
3. Insert the new thermopile into the pilot burner and
attach either the nut or clip depending on the pilot burner.
4. Connect lead terminal to the gas valve.
5. Follow the lighting instructions from the original
equipment manufacturer.
a. stable flame with blue coloring
b. that the thermopile has correct flame impingement
c. the flame is heating the upper 3/8” of the thermopile tip
