1 - INSTALLATION

CVI NET WEB demo kit is a time-limited demo license

useful for testing full application in real production network

architecture.

• Install "CVI NET WEB" package and authorize data

collection up to 200 controllers for 90 days without any

license.

1.1 - Prerequisite

- Windows server 2003

- Windows server 2008 R2.

1.2 - Installation procedure

• Go to "My Desoutter" → Products → Software → CVI NET

WEB → CVI NET WEB software demo kit.

• Double-click the "CVINET WEB demo kit.exe" icon.

• Click "Install" and wait until the software is installed:

• Click "Finish".

The software is installed in the Start → Programs →

Desoutter → CVI NET WEB demo kit.

2 - HOW TO START/STOP THE DEMO

• From Windows, click Start → Programs → Desoutter →

CVINetWeb Demo Kit menu.

• First select "CVI Net Service".

• Select then "CVI Net Monitor".

• Finally, click "Start Server".

• Wait a few minutes until the server is started.

• At the end of the demo, access the Start →

Programs → Desoutter → CVINetWeb Demo Kit

menu and select "Stop Server".

• From Windows, click Start → Programs → Desoutter →

CVINetWeb Demo Kit menu.

• Click "CVINetWeb".

3.1 - Change the language

The language by default is "English".

• Click this icon to display the available languages.

• Select your language

• Press OK to validate.

The administrator can set the current language to

Default.

3.2 - Using icons

Icon Function Description

Viewer to display the results from the

controllers.

Curves to show the tightening curves.

Reports to create reports on the samples.

Statistics to create statistics on the samples.

User info to manage the user information.

Date

format to select the date and time format.

Live results

viewer

to display the results from the

controllers in real time.

Settings

- to set application settings

- to edit factory structures

- to manage controllers, teams, users

and groups

- to change the administrator

password

- to authorize controllers to send data

to the database.

- to set the "Notications" application.

Logout to quit the Edit menu

The access to "Settings" depends on the user

access rights.

Each time a main function is clicked, a new tab is opened just

below the icons bar.

• Click the tab to view its content.

• Click the icon to close the tab.

• Click this icon rst.

• Click this icon immediately after to

display the results existing in the demo

database..

• Expand "Factory" by clicking the red arrow on the left.
