Introduction:
Congratulations on purchasing a Laser Portable Digital
Radio. By following some simple precautions your
device will give you years of trouble free service.
Specifications:
Radio Frequency: FM (87.5-108Mhz); DAB+ (5A-13f)
Power -3 x AAA batteries (Alkaline recommended)
Stereo Earphones (3.5mm)
General warning:
Do not place the unit near water, steam, sand or other
environmental hazards. Avoid direct heat / sunlight
sources such as outdoors, in vehicles or near heaters.
The DAB-DGHN is designed for use in Australia and
may not work in other countries

Battery:
We recommend the use of new Alkaline AAA type
batteries for best performance.
Please note the orientation of the +/- battery
polarity when inserting batteries.
If the DAB-DGHN is not going to be used for an
extended period of time, it is recommended to
remove the batteries.
When the battery power is low, the device will
power off automatically. Please change the
batteries
Operation:
Auto Scan / Quick Scan–
The first time the DAB-DGHN is switched on, the device will
automatically scan for stations.
The Earphones must be plugged in when station scanning
occurs as the cord acts as the antenna.
Please ensure that the side lock switch is in the “unlock
position”
Press the Power button
Choose either DAB or FM mode
Press the INFO button for 3 seconds
Press the right arrow button then choose Auto Scan
Press OK to confirm
Other functions –
To select stations, press the left or right arrow button, then
press the OK button to confirm
Press the VOL+ and VOL- button to adjust volume level
Press the DAB/FM button to change between the FM radio
frequency and DAB+ frequency
The LOCK switch on the side prevents accidental button
presses (eg; whilst in your pocket / bag)
Automatic clock setting – the device will automatically
update the time when tuned into a DAB+ station or an FM
station with RDS.
Setup Menu - Press the INFO button for 3 seconds
Storing your favourite stations
The DAB-DGHN can store up to 10 saved stations (presets) to
allow for quick recall of saved stations.
To store preset stations:
1. Whilst listening to a station, press and hold the OK
button for 3 seconds.
2. Press the right or left arrow button to select the preset
number you want the station stored on.
3. Press and hold the OK button for approximately 3
seconds to store the preset (The station name will be
recalled with the preset channel)
NOTE: All Station names can be recalled when you press and
hold the OK button.
Recalling a stored station
1. Press the OK button for 3 seconds
2. Then use the right or left arrow button to choose the
preset station
3. Press OK to confirm
If a preset does not have a station saved, then "Preset XX"
will be displayed.

Can I receive Digital Radio?

I can see station names on
the display, but it says " N/A
Signal"
Possible reception issues: For DAB
reception, signal strength can change
in short distances. Move around to try
different locations. Otherwise do the
full scan again: Hold the INFO button
for 3 seconds and choose Auto Scan
The device turns off
automatically after a few
seconds
Replace the batteries, preferably with
new Alkaline batteries.
In FM mode, what does "
Force Mono" do?
When in FM mode, the device will
automatically switch between stereo
and mono mode. In weak FM
reception areas choose Force Mono.
I have tried Auto Scanning
but still cannot receive DAB+
stations.
Reception may not be possible in
remote areas or whilst obstructed (eg;
tunnels or underground)
The device seems to have
lost reception where once it
was ok.
Hold the INFO button for 3 seconds;
choose Set Up, then Factory Default
to restore original settings.
