ABSTRACT
This document provides a brief overview of the Texas Instruments’ SYS/BIOS Real-Time Operating
System (RTOS) and outlines how to implement SYS/BIOS on the Stellaris
®
ARM
®
Cortex™-M3 family of
microcontrollers. In addition to setting up and running an example project provided within the SYS/BIOS
software package, this document outlines the process of creating a new SYS/BIOS project with the Code
Composer Studio™ v4.2 (CCS) integrated development environment (IDE). As a final step, this document
outlines the integration of the StellarisWare
®
Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) into a SYS/BIOS
project.
