TheLightingPlaybackController(LPC)is100%solidstateandhavebeenqualifiedtooperateina
dryenvironmentwithinatemperaturerangeof0°Cto50°C(32°Fto122°F).SealedIP65rated
consumerunitsareavailableforoutdooruse,pleaseconsultyourPharosdistributoror
representative.
Sincetheunitsrequirenouserinterventiononceinstalledtheyaresuitableforremoteinstallation
withallconfigurationandmanagementtakingplaceoveranEthernetnetwork.Howeveritis
recommendedthataccesscanbegainedintheunlikelyeventofahardwarefailure.

TherearethreeversionsoftheLPCavailable:LPC1,LPC2andLPC4.TheLPC1supports512
DMXchannels,theLPC2supports1024channelsandtheLPC4supports2048channels(ofwhich
1024channelsareeDMXonly).Allcanbeusedasastand-alonecontrollerorco-operatively,via
anEthernetnetwork,toformascalablesystem.

REALTIMECLOCKBATTERY
TheLPC’sinternalrealtimeclockisbattery-backedtoensureoperationwhentheunitisnot

withidenticalormorerecentfirmwareissufficienttogettheprojectupandrunningagain.

RESETSWITCH
TheEXTmayberesetbyinsertingasmallbluntobjectintotheresetholeonthefrontoftheEXT
todepresstheresetswitch.Theswitchshouldbeheldforatleastonesecond.Thiswillnotreset
theconnectedTPC.
NOTE:Theresetmustnotbeoperatedwhenuploadingprojectdatanorduring
bootloader/firmwareupdatestotheEXTorTPCascorruptionofthedataorsoftwaremay
occur,perhapsevenrenderingtheunitinoperable.
