TERMSOFWARRANTY
PIasticparts(ie.evaporatordoor,doorrails,coversandtraysarewarrantedforthirty(30)daysonlyfrompurchasedate,withnoextensionsprovided.
FirstYear Duringthefirstyear(1),anyelectricalpartsof thisproductfoundto bedefective,includinganysealedsystemunits,willberepairedor
replaced,atwarrantor'soption,atnochargetothe ORIGINALpurchaser.Consumableparts(ie. lightbulbs)arenotwarrantedor
guaranteedforanylengthoftime.
SecondThrough Duringthenextfouryears(4)anypartofthesealedsystemfoundtobedefective(consistingof compressor,condenser,evaporator,
FifthYear dryerandallrelatedtubing)willbereplacedwithoutcharge. ThepurchasershallpayforaIIlaborandreturnfreightduringthisfouryear
(4)periodfor repairor replacementofanysealedsystemcomponents.Anyunitbeingdiagnosedas non-functionalduetosealed
systemfailureandwarrantinganexchangeduringtheexistingfour(4) yearswillbesubjecttoanappropriatedepreciationoruserfee,
includinganyandallfreightchargesbeingleviedagainsttheconsumer.

Thisrefrigeratoris inclusiveofa cycledefrostsystem.
Therefrigeratorhasa coldplatelocatedinbehindtheback
walloftherefrigeratorcabinet. Icebuild-uponthebackwall
duringcompressoroperationisnormal. Whenthecompressor
hascycledoff,accumulatedicewilldefrostautomatically.
Defrostwaterwillcollectinsidethedraintroughpassthrough
thedrainoutletlocatedatthebottomofthecabinetandflJnnel
intoa drainpansituatedabovethecompressor.Thewaterwill
thenevaporatefromthistrayfromtheheatofthecompressor.
REMINDER:Keepthedrainoutletopeningclearofanyfood
particlesor otherimpediments.Thiswillensurethewatercan
funneltothedrainpanwithoutobstruction. Failuretokeep
thisoutletcleanmayresultinwateroverflowingthetrough,
causingwatertoaccumulateatthebottomoftherefrigerator,
eventuallyleakingontoyourfloor. Pleasewipethistroughand
drainoutletwitha softclothasrequired.

Removeexteriorand interiorpackings,wipethe outsidethoroughly
witha softdryclothandtheinsidewitha wet,lukewarmcloth. Avoid
placingthecabinetina narrowrecessor nearanyheatsource,direct
sunlight,or moisture.Letaircirculatefreelyaroundthecabinet.Keep
therearofthe refrigerator5 inchesawayfromthewall.

4. Avoidverymoistplaces.Toomuchmoisturein theairwillcause
frostto formvery quicklyon theevaporator,andyourrefrigerator
willhaveto bedefrostedmorefrequently.
Toavoidvibration,the cabinetmustbe set level. This is accomplishedby
adjustingthe (2)frontlevelinglegslocatedunderthe refrigeratorcabinet. To
startthe refrigerator,turnthe temperaturecontrol(OFF-MAX)tothe position
correspondingtothe desiredcooling.
OFF= No Cooling
1= Minimum Cooling
4 =MediumCooling
MAX= MaximumCooling
Therefrigeratortemperaturewillvarydependingonthequantityofthe
foodstoredandonthefrequencywithwhichthedoorisopened.
Cleaning
Tocleantheinside,usea softclothanda mixtureofone
tablespoonof bakingsodatoonequartofwater. Othercleaning
solutionsoptionsarea mildsoapsudssolution,or milddetergent.
Washglassshelvesin a milddetergentsolution,thendryand
wipewitha softcloth. Cleantheoutsidewitha softdampcloth
andsomemilddetergentor appliancecleaner.
Vacation Time
Forshortvacationperiods,leavethecontrolknobat itsnormal
setting. Duringlongerabsences;
(a) removeallfoods,
(b) disconnectpowercordfromelectricaloutlet
(c) cleantherefrigeratorthoroughly,includingdefrostpan,
locatedabovecompressoratbackof unit.
(d) leavedooropentoavoidpossibleformationsof condensate,
moldor odors.
Power Failure
Mostpowerfailuresarecorrectedwithinan hourortwoandwill
notaffectyourrefrigeratortemperatures.However,youshould
minimizethenumberofdooropeningswhilethepoweris off.
Duringpowerfailuresoflongerduration,takestepsto protect
yourfoodbyplacingdryiceontopofpackages.

poultryandfish. Meatsshouldbewrappedindividually
