Introduction
Micronet SP608P EtherFast 10/100M PoE Switch provides 8
10/100Mbps Ethernet ports with 4 PoE ports. SP608P can
automatically detect the presence of IEEE 802.3af-compliant
end devices and provide power through the existing LAN cables.
Therefore, the switch can be used with WLAN Access Point,
VoIP phone, IP camera and other PD devices. SP608P
provides a cost-effective way of increasing the total network
capacity available to users on a local area network.

Installation
Installation is easy-- simply connect the Ethernet cables with
devices and plug the power cord. Then the system is ready, you
can use all the features.
With the auto-uplink (MDI / MDI-X) functionality, SP608P can
connect other switch with a straight through cable directly, no
more cross-over cable consideration needed.
Ports 1 to 4 are used for connecting to PD or PoE splitter for
end devices.
Ports 5 to 8 are RJ-45 ports for connecting non-PoE devices.
Note: To prevent costly equipment damage and downtime,
please consider installing a surge suppression device or a UPS
(Un-interrupted Power Supply).
