Brandt DHG7501X is a reliable kitchen appliance designed to keep your kitchen free of fumes and odors. It can be used as a recirculation or extraction hood depending on the user's preference. shortestpossiblelength.

-Limitthenumberofpipebends.

- Use a material approved by

standardsandregulations.

- Avoid any sudden changes in

pipesection(recommendedcon-

stantdiameter:150mmorequal

surfacearea).

* The appliance is not intended

for use by young children or

inrm persons without super-

vision. Young children should

be supervised to ensure they

do not play with the appliance.

* The cooker surface and the

inferior part of the cooker hood

must be at a minimun distance

of 65 cm.

veyed through or into a duct

used to let out fumes from ap-

INSTALLATION

Before installing the appliance, make sure that

noneofthepartsisdamagedinanyway.Incase

ofdamagedparts,contactyourretaileranddonot

proceedwithinstallation.

Readallofthefollowinginstructionswithcarebe-

foreinstallingtheappliance.

- Useanair outlet pipe of theshortest possible

length.

binetwhichissuitabletoholdtheapplianceinpo-

sition(g.4).

Theapplianceisalreadyarrangedbothforltering

andforsuctionperformances.

*Initsltering version(Fig.1),theairandfumes

conveyedby theappliance aredepured bothby

agreaselterandbyanactivecoallter,andput

*Initssucking version(Fig.2),fumesaredirect-

lyconveyedoutside,throughanevacuationduct

connectedwiththesuperiorpartofthewallorthe

ceiling.Bothcoallterandairdeectorarenotne-

to re risk due to oil grease.

Being highly inammable, fri-

ed oil is especially dangerous.

Do not use uncovered electric

grills. In order to avoid possi-

ble re risk, all instructions for

grase-lter cleaning and for re-

moving eventual grease depo-

sits should be strictly followed.

Connect the ange to the exhausting hole with

an appropriate pipe. Connect the appliance

with the electrical mains through the supply

cord.

Filtering version

Connecttheangewithapipesuitabletoconvey

theairtothetopofthecabinet.Connecttheap-

pliancewiththeelectricalmainsthroughthesup-

plycord.

MAINTENANCE

*Anaccuratemaintenanceguaranteesgoodfun-

ctioningandlong-lastingperformance.

*Particularcareisduetothegreaselterpanel.It

canberemovedbypushingitsspecialhandleto-

wardtheback-sideofthecookerhoodandturning

thelterdownwardssotounfastenitfromitsslot.

Toinsertthelterjustperformtheoppositeope-

ration.

After 30 hours working, the push button control

panelwillsignalthesaturationofthegreaselter

bylightingallthebuttons.Pressthetimerbutton

toreset.

Thegreaselterneedscleaningbyregularhand-

washing orin dishwashers every twomonths at

leastordependingonitsuse.

*Incasetheapplianceisusedinitslteringver-

sion,theactivecoallterneedstobeperiodically

replaced.Thecoalltercanberemovedbyremo-

vingthegreaselterrst,andbypullingitsspecial

plastictongue untilit isunfastenedfromitsslot.

Re-insertthecoallterbyoperatingintheopposi-

teway.Thecoallterneedsreplacingdepending

ontheuse,buthowevereverysixmonthsatleast.

*Tocleantheapplianceitselftepidwaterandneu-

tral detergent are recommended, while abrasive

productsshouldbeavoided.Forsteelappliances

specializeddetergentsarerecommended(please

followtheinstructionsindicatedotheproductitself

toobtainthedesiredresults).

Beforeto replacethe ledlampswitchofftheap

pliance then by using appropriate tools remove

theledlampfromitsslot(Pic.9).

Take outtheledlampfrom itsconnectorand re

placewithsimilarcharacteristics.

Tondthecorrectledlamppleasecheckonthe

replacementpartlist.

*Ifthesupplycordisdamaged,itmustberepla-

cedbythemanufactureroritsseviceagentorasi-

milarlyqualiedpersoninordertoavoidahazard.

EU66“Ecodesign”regulationsissuedbytheEu-

ropean Commission, which came into force as

fromJanuary1

,2015,ourproductshavebeen

adaptedtocomplywiththesenewrequirements.

Allofthemodelscomplyingwiththeenergylabel

requirements,areequippedwithnewelectronics

includinga timerdevice forsuction speedscon-

trol,whentheaircapacityexceeds650m³/h.

Internalmotormodels,withmaximumaircapacity

higherthan650m³/h,areequippedwithatimerde-

vicethatautomaticallyswitchesthesuctionspeed

speed,after5minutesoperation.

Externalmotormodelsareequippedwithremote

motorsthat,asforinternalmotorversions,inclu-

deatimerdevicethatswitchesdownthesuction

speed whenit exceeds650 mᵌ/h. (SeeExternal
