Iftheratinglabelinthecooker-hooddoes
notshowthesymbol,theapplianceis
built in class I° and it needs the earth
connection.
* Whenperformingtheelectricalconnections
ontheappliance,pleasemakesurethatthe
current tapisprovidedwithearthconnection
andthatvoltagevaluescorrespondtothose
indicatedontherating labelplacedinsidethe
applianceitself.
* Before carrying outanycleaningor
maintaining operations, the appliance
needs toberemovedfromtheelectricgrid.
Iftheapplianceisnotprovidedwithanon
separableflexiblecableandplug,orwith
anotherdeviceensuringomnipolar
disconnectionsfromthe grid, with an
opening distance betweenthecontactsofat
least3mm,thensuchdisconnectingdevices
mustbe
suppliedwithinthefixedinstallation.
If the fixed appliance is endowed with a
supplycordandaplug,theappliancehasto
be put in a place where the plug can be
reachedeasily.
* Theuseofmaterialswhichcanburstinto
flames should be avoided in close
proximity of the appliance. When frying,
pleasepay particularattentionto firerisk
due to oil grease. Being highly
inflammable, fried oil is especially
dangerous. Do not use uncovered
electric grills. In order toavoid possible
fire risk, all instructionsforgrease-filter
cleaningandforremovingeventualgrease
depositsshouldbestrictlyfollowed.
WARNINGS
Before installing the appliance, make sure
thatnoneofthepartsare damagedinany
way.Incaseofdamagedparts,contactyour
retaileranddonotproceedwithinstallation.
Read all of the following instructions with
carebeforeinstallingtheappliance.
- Useanairoutletpipeoftheshortest
possiblelength.
- Limitthenumberofpipebends.
- Useamaterialapprovedbystandardsand
regulations.
- Avoidanysuddenchangesinpipesection
(recommended constant diameter: 150 mm
orequalsurfacearea).
* Theapplianceisnotintendedforuseby
youngchildrenorinfirmpersons without
supervision.Youngchildrenshouldbe
supervised to ensure theydo not play
withtheappliance.
* The extractor hood must be a minimum
distance of 65 cm from all hobs.
* Theextracted air can’tbeconveyed
through or into a duct used to let out
fumesfromappliancesfedbyenergyother
thanelectricpower(eg.centralizedheating,
radiators,water heaters,etc.).
* Toevacuatetheairoutlet,pleasecomply
withthepertainingrulesgivenby
competentauthorities.
* Providetheroomwithanadequateaeration
when a cooker hood and appliances fed by
energyotherthanelectricpower(gas,oil,or
coal stoves,etc.)areusedsimultaneously.The
cookerhood,whenevacuatingtheextracted air,
couldgenerateanegativepressureinthe
room which can’t exceed the limit of0.04
mbar,inordertoavoidthesuckofexhausts
derivingfromtheheat-source.Thereforethe
roomshouldbeprovidedwithair-intakesto
allowaconstantflowoffreshair.
If the rating labelin the cooker-hood
shows the symbol, the appliance is
builtinclassII°anditdoesnotneedany
earthconnection.
USES
The appliance is already arranged both for
filteringandforsuctionperformances.
* In its filtering version(Fig.1), the air and
fumesconveyedbytheappliancearecleaned
both by a grease filter and by an active
charcoalfilter, andput again intocirculation
through the hole made on the top of the
cabinet.
The charcoal filter is not supplied with the
appliance, and must be ordered separately if
required
