1.2. WORK AREA SAFETY
9 Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
8 DO NOT operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of ammableliquids,gasesordust.Powertools
create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
9 Keepchildrenandbystandersawaywhileoperatingapowertool.Distractionscancause you to lose control.
1.3. PERSONAL SAFETY
9 Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a power tool. DO NOT use a power tool while you are
 tiredorundertheinuenceofdrugs,alcoholormedication.Amomentofinattentionwhileoperatingpowertoolsmayresultinserious
 personalinjury.
9 Usepersonalprotectiveequipment.Alwaysweareyeprotection.Protectiveequipmentsuchasdustmask,non-skidsafetyshoes,
 hardhat,orhearingprotectionusedforappropriateconditionswillreducepersonalinjuries.
9 Preventunintentionalstarting.Ensuretheswitchisintheo-positionbeforeconnectingtopowersourceand/orbatterypack,picking
up or carrying the tool.
9 Carryingpowertoolswithyourngerontheswitchorenergisingpowertoolsthathavetheswitchoninvitesaccidents.
9 Removeanyadjustingkeyorwrenchbeforeturningthepowertoolon.
8 DO NOToverreach.Keepproperfootingandbalanceatalltimes.Thisenablesbettercontrol of the power tool in unexpected
situations.
9 Dress properly. DO NOT wearlooseclothingorjewellery.Keepyourhair,clothingand gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes,

9 If devices are provided for the connection of dust extraction and collection facilities, ensure these are connected and properly used.
1.4. POWER TOOL USE AND CARE
8 DO NOT forcethepowertool.Usethecorrectpowertoolforyourapplication.Thecorrectpowertoolwilldothejobbetterandsafer
at the rate for which it was designed.
8 DO NOTusethepowertooliftheswitchdoesnotturnitonando.Anypowertoolthatcannotbecontrolledwiththeswitchis 
 dangerousandmustberepaired.
WARNING!Removethebatterypackfromthepowertoolbeforemakinganyadjustments,changingaccessories,or 
storing power tools.
9 Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the power tool or these instructions to

9 Haveyourpowertoolservicedbyaqualiedrepairpersonusingonlyidenticalreplacementparts.Thiswillensurethatthesafetyof
the power tool is maintained.Unauthorisedpartsmaybedangerousandwillinvalidatethewarranty.
1.6. SPECIFIC POLISHER SAFETY

WARNING! Keep all guards and holding screws in place, tight and in good working order.

4. ASSEMBLY

4.1. INSTALLING/REMOVING BACKING PAD (g.1)
4.1.1. Toinstallthebackingpad,presstheshaftlockbutton(g.1.1)topreventspindlerotationandthenturnthebackingpad(g.1.2) 
 anticlockwiseasfarasitcango.Toremovethebackingpad,followtheinstallprocedureinreverse.
4.2. ADJUST HANDLE ANGLE(g.2)
4.2.1. Loosenthehexboltonbothsidesofthetoolanticlockwisewithahexwrench(g.2.1)andthenadjusttheangleoftheauxiliary 
 handle.Selectonepositionsuitableforyourwork.
4.2.2. Tightenthehexboltonbothsidesclockwiseasfarasitcango.
4.3. INSTALLING/REMOVING POLISHING PAD
4.3.1. Toinstallthepad,rstremovealldirtandforeignmatterfromthehook-and-loopsystemofthepadandthebackingpad.Attachthe
 padtothebackingpadsothattheiredgesarealigned.
4.3.2. Toremovethepadfromthebackingpad,justpullupfromitsedge.
4.4. SWITCHING ON/OFF(g.3)
4.4.1. Depresstriggerlockbutton(g.3.1)toenablethetrigger(g.3.2)tobepulled.
4.4.2. Toolspeedcanbeadjustedbysqueezingorreleasingthetrigger.
4.4.3. Tostopthetool,fullyreleasethetrigger.

5. MAINTENANCE
WARNING!Beforeattemptinganymaintenance,removethebattery.

5.1. Keep the machine clean and dry. DO NOTuseabrasivesorsolventsto
clean the unit. Ensure all external head screws are tight.
5.2. Regularly clean the dust covers on the air vents for smooth air circulation.
5.3. Removethedustcoversandcleanthemesh(g.5).
5.4. Whennotinuse,removethebatteryandstoreinasafe,drychildprooflocation.
WARNING! – Risk of Hand Arm Vibration Injury.
This tool may cause Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome if its use is not managed adequately.

Whilstinuse,theactualvaluewillvaryconsiderablyfromanddependonmanyfactors.
Suchfactorsinclude;theoperator,thetaskandtheinsertedtoolorconsumable.
NB:ensurethatthelengthofleaderhosesissufficienttoallowunrestricteduse,asthisalsohelpstoreducevibration.
State of maintenance of the tool itself is also an important factor, a poorly maintained tool will also increase risk of Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome.
Health surveillance.
Werecommendaprogrammeofhealthsurveillancetodetectearlysymptomsofvibrationinjurysothatmanagementprocedurescanbemodified
accordingly.
Personal protective equipment.
Wearenotawareofanypersonalprotectiveequipment(PPE)thatprovidesprotectionagainstvibrationinjurythatmayresultfromthe
uncontrolleduseofthistool.Werecommendasufficientsupplyofclothing(includinggloves)toenabletheoperatortoremainwarmanddryand
maintaingoodbloodcirculationinfingersetc.Pleasenotethatthemosteffectiveprotectionisprevention,pleaserefertotheCorrectUseand
