6Operation steps
Step 0: Set all HV Box protocol to “PARALLEL HV CAN”.
Step 1:Connect CAN-BATTERY/CAN-INVERTER communication cable.
Step 2:Connect external DC24V power supply with a AC/DC power supply (not included).
Step 3:START UP: Press ON/OFF button for 0.5 seconds, the combiner will start.
Turn ON each HV BOX Breaker.
The HV BOX connected in daisy chain (ATTENTION: USE TWO WIRES CONNECTION CABLE) will self-address.
Refer to the battery manual for HV BOX settings.
Step 4:SHUT DOWN: Press ON/OFF button for 4 Seconds, the combiner will start the shutdown operation, Combiner will communicate
with all the HV BOX connected and will initiate the HVBOX shutdown shut down process.
The HV BOX can now be turned off by disengaging the Main Breaker of each HV BOX
Note:
When the DT8-24 detects a system fault, the ALM led is flash and the inverter will detect a BMS fault between inverter and battery.
The inverter specific protocol only needs to be set in the DT8-24 Can Combiner using the appropriate software. The hv boxes must have
"PARALLEL HV CAN” for multicluster operations.
