Take Control of Assa Abloy Bluetooth Door Opener
1. Remove the shroud covering the door opener mechanism.
a. Set the switch on the end of the door opener to hold in order to keep the door from being triggered
during the reprogramming process
b. Use a screwdriver to remove the two screws at the base of the shroud
c. Remove the end caps from either end of the shroud
d. Store the shroud safely to ensure it does not get scratched and put the screws in a safe place
2. Follow the Assa Abloy instructions to initialize the door opener
Even if it was programmed previously during installation, this process will allow you to take full
control of the door opener and configure based on your preferences.
Return the switch on the doors endcap to auto before beginning the process.
3. Reinstall the shroud overtop of the door opener mechanism
a. Replace shroud
b. Reinstall end caps
c. Reinstall screws
