The TLP-107SY provides an analog audio connection to loggers from telephones that
have modular connected handsets. The TLP-107SY provides a clear recording of both
sides of your conversation from almost all telephones whether they are digital or analog.
This unit provides 15db amplification of the audio signal to the recorder for those
recorders that use VOX Control rather than Automatic Gain Control.
The TLP-107SY injects a short beep at approximately 15 second intervals onto the
phone line. The beep is audible in the earphones of all phones connected to the
conversation and is recorded. Beep volume is adjusted using a small screwdriver
through the hole in the bottom of the unit, and may be stopped by turning the volume
control to minimum. The unit is powered by a 6VDC AC adapter supplied with each unit.

To install the unit, unplug the handset coil cord from the base of the telephone and plug
it into the handset jack on the TLP-107SY. Insert the cable from the TLP-107SY into
the handset jack on the phone base. Connect a line cord from the logger into the RJ-11
jack on the TLP-107SY. The unit may be mounted at a convenient location on the base
of the phone with the adhesive pad. Only the two central conductors of the RJ-11 jack in
the unit are connected and carry the audio signal. Plug the 6VDC AC Adapter,
furnished with the unit, into a nearby 120VAC power outlet. Insert the plug from the
adapter into the jack on the TLP-107SY.
