ture reference.

Important safety precautions
Warning
Please unplug the power cord from the AC outlet and contact our service personnel to repair under
the following conditions:
 Any obvious abnormality appears in the product, such as smoky, peculiar smell or strange
sound.
 When a liquid has been spilled or other objects have fallen into the product.
 No picture or sound.
 Cover or panel is broken.
 Although you have operated the product by following the operating instructions, it still cannot
work normally.
Warning
Be careful about the power cord or the plug to avoid the fire or the electric shock.
 Always disconnect the power cord and antenna during the storm.
 Do not fix the power cord with the metal nail.
 Unplug the power cord from the AC outlet; also unplug the signal cables from the input ports
when the product is unused for long periods of time or during a lightning storm.
 When unplug the plug, always hold the wide slot, do not touch the metal part, and do not de-
stroy, refit, twist, pull or roast the power cord.
 Please contact the personnel service immediately if you found that the core is showed in the air
or is been broken.
 Please replace the AC outlet if the metal bolt cannot be inserted into the power socket com-
pletely or it cannot be fastened even when it was pushed in, otherwise, any accidents of shocks
and fires would happen.
 Never touch the antenna lie or power plug if it stars to thunder.
 Do not touch the power plug with wet hands.
 Do not use any non-rated power socket with numerous devices jointed on one power socket or
cable device. The wire of non-designated capacity may cause the fire due to the generation of
heat.
Instructions
All instructions must be read and understood well before you operating this product. Heed all warn-
ings and follow all instructions.
Attachments
Please use the attachment recommended by the manufacturer. Use the inadequate attachments may
result in accidents.
Adjustment
Please adjust the product through the panel buttons or the remote control, do not remove the cover
or attempt to service the product by yourself. Do not disassemble back cover and do not make main-
tenance by yourself to avoid the electric shock.
Caution: Over-press the panel may destroy the product.
Placement
 Do not place the product on an unstable cart, stand surface, tripod, bracket, or table. The prod-
uct may fall, causing serious accidents as well as the damage to the product.

 Please place the product on a flat surface in a well-ventilated location. Keep it away from the
burning-light, direct sunlight, vibration, high-temperature and humidity. Store the product with
a temperature from –20

C; Otherwise you may destroy the product.
 Do not place any vase, potted plant, cup, medicine and any container with water on this prod-
uct. If the liquid is spilt, it may cause the fire, electric shock or breakdown.
 Do not install it at the place on the strong magnetic field or current field. It may cause break
down. This equipment may be observed deterioration of the picture by electromagnetic radia-
tion in electromagnetic environment.
 Fasten the wheel of the product or shelf with wheels when installing this product. If it moves or
is tipped over, it may be damaged.
 Do not place any fire source such as candlelight close to this product or place it on this product.
If it is tipped over or fallen down, it may cause damage or fire.
Caution: Do not place the LCD TV into closed space of TV for better ventilation; it can
reduce the product lifetime. Keep a space at list 10cm at above, left, and right of the TV.
Remote control
 Do not expose the remote control to shock, liquids, and do not place it in an area with high hu-
midity. Please use the qualified batteries and do not mix batteries with different types.
 Do not mix old and new batteries, and do not place the batteries to burn or disassemble them. If
the remote control is unused for an extend period of time, remove batteries from the remote
control.
Cords
Please place all the signal cords behind of rear panel.
Cleaning
 Unplug the power cord from the AC outlet before cleaning the product. Do not use liquid
cleaners or aerosol cleaners and others; use the special LCD Panel cleaners. Keep the power off
before LCD panel dry completely.
 Clean the dust on the power plug periodically.
Caution: Do not use volatile cleaner or you may damage the LCD Panel/Covers.
Transportation
 Do not overexert or touch the panel when you convey the product. Do not transfer the LCD TV
up or down display direction.
 Do not transport it with the power cord or the connection cable connected. If you move this
product with the power cord or the connection cable connected, the damaged power cord, con-
nection cable or connection terminal may cause the fire, the electric shock or breakdown.
 2 persons or more shall transport the device, which is heavier than 18 kg. If you drop or tip
over the device, it may damage it.
Other objects
To ensure not to get an electric shock or short circuit, please do not spill liquid or other objects into
the ventilation holes of the product.
Caution: Do not stand on the LCD TV, do not push LCD TV or itsstand. Keep it away from
children.
Heating
The temperature of the product’s body becomes a little higher after a long period use. This
phenomenon indicates about heat exchange in normal working mode, thus please do not let children
or anyone who is sensitive of temperature to touch.
Note: All the OSD and illustrations in this manual may be somewhat different from the actual situa-
tion. Please take the LCD Color TV menu as the standard.

Controls and connection
Place your LCD TV on a flat surface in a well-ventilated location.
Front panel
Top panel button description
Button Description
1 MENU Open the menu or switch among the menus.
2 TV/AV To switch among the signal source.
3 VOL-/+ Decrease/increase the sound volume. Adjust functions in menu operation.
4 P-/+ In TV mode, decrease/increase channel number. Select functions in menu operation.
5 Indicator Indicates the TV state
6 POWER Enter or leave the standby mode.

Rear panel terminals and controls
Items Connection description
8 DC input
Connect the DC 12V power cable with DC adapter, which should be
connected to AC power supply. Connect the other end of the DC
power cable with the DC power port on the TV.
9 Headphone jack Connect the headphones to this jack
10 RF antenna
The RF output terminal can be connected with the RF input port of
the TV.
11 S-Video
The output S-Video terminal of DVD can be connected with the S-
Video input port of the TV through S-Video cable.

Composite video input
Audio input
The product can receive different signals (the programs send by TV
station) and transfer these signals through AV signal cable to other
audio and video equipments. The AV output of the TV can be con-
nected with the input port of other AV equipment through AV cable.
13 SCART Connect DVD video player or other device via SCART cable
14 Component video input
It’s convenient to receive the component video signal of high defini-
tion from DVD player. The output Component (YPbPr) terminal of
DVD can be connected with the Component (YPbPr) input port of the
TV through AV cable.
15 VGA (PC) input Connect VGA cable to the PC
Notes:
 Ensure that the power to the LCD TV and other connected devices is off before you make any
connections.
 Check and make sure that all AV cables are connected with the corresponding ports correctly.

Insert the batteries
 Remove the battery cover by pressing the symbol and pulling the cover space in the direction of
the arrow.
 Insert the two 1.5V (AAA size) batteries making sure the polarity (+ or -) of the batteries
matches the polarity marks inside the unit.
 Replace the battery cover by sliding it in until you hear a click sound.
Note: If the RC doesn’t react to pressing the buttons or the working range was decreased insert the
new batteries.
Use of RC
Use the RC by pointing it towards the RC sensor of the set. Objects between the RC and sensor may
prevent proper operation.
Note: The illustration is for your reference only; the remote sensor may locate differently with dif-
ferent model.
Cautions regarding use of RC
 Do not expose the RC to liquids, and do not place in an area with high humidity.
 Do not install or place the RC under direct sunlight. The heat may cause deformation of the
unit.
 The RC may not work properly if the remote sensor of the main unit is under direct sunlight or
strong lighting. In such a case, change the angle of the lighting or LCD TV set, or operate the
RC closer to the remote sensor.
TV installation
Connect antenna or video facility
Use 75 Ohm coaxial cable plug or 300-75 Ohm impedance converter to plug in antenna input ter-
minal on the rear of the cabinet.

Operations
Standby
Press POWER button to turn on or off.
TV/AV
Press TV/AV button, signal source changes as following: TV => AV => SVHS => SCART =>
YpbPr => PC => TV. By long pressing this button you will select menu as followed you can select
which source you need quickly.
Digit buttons
Directly press the number buttons to switch to the relevant program, according to the current pro-
gram digits. The selecting range of the programs is 0~199.
Switch program button
 Each time after selecting a program, it will automatically turn back to one digit mode, and
press [-/--] to choose two or three digits before pressing number keys [0]~[9]: the program dig-
its will changed as follows: -- >, 1-- >.
 In the state of two digits entering, the program will come back to the present one, only when
the second number is not entered within 3 seconds after the first number's entering. While in
three digits entering, the first digit will automatically be 1, and the program will come back to
the present one, only when the third number is not entered within 3 seconds after the second
number's entering.
Previous channel
Jump back to the previous program.
Mute
Pressing this button, the audio can be muted, press again, the audio will be on.
Call
Show present mode.
No.1. The number is the program number.
No.2. It is the state of the c hild lock .
No.3. The 03:03 is the current time.
No.4. The OFF TIME is the auto off time.
No.5. The SLEEP is the time that how
long the TV will auto off.
OK
Picture mode Setup [OK]:
Press this button in TV mode, to enter picture menu: BRIGHTNESS => CONTRAST => COLOUR
=> SHARPNESS. You can change the value with LEFT/RIGHT cursor buttons or V-/+ button.

Picture mode setup
Press P button repeatedly, then picture will change as follows: USER =>DYNAMIC => STAN-
DARD => MILD.
Sound mode setup
Press S button repeatedly, the sound mode will be changed as follows: USER => MUSIC =>
SPEECH => MOVIE.
MENU
Press this button to enter/quit menu.
SLEEP
Press SLEEP button, to choose auto turn-off time from 5 to 120 minutes or choose  to turn
off the sleep function and quit sleep menu.
P-/+
Press these buttons to switch the program number in turn when, and choose program, and switch
items in menu. (as UP/DOWN button)
V-/+
Press these buttons to increase the volume level. Choose menu value. (as LEFT/RIGHT button).
SCAN
Press SCAN button to start scanning the following programs, channels starting from the current
watching one. When the scanning of all channels is finished, it will go back to the previous
watching channel. Press any button on the remote will stop this scan function.
Surround
Press SURROUND button to activate function of surround sound. Press one more time to deactivate
it.

OSD operations
Note: In this manual the OSD (On Screen Display) may be different from your TVs because it is
just an example to help you with the TV operation.
In the following contents, press MENU button to enter the menu; press P+/P- buttons to select an
item. The highlight background means the current selection, press V+/V- buttons to set the selected
item or enter into sub-menu (or use cursor buttons), after setting is done, press OK button or MENU
button to go back to the previous menu. Press MENU button to quit the setting menu.
Picture
 Brightness. To adjust picture brightness.
 Contrast. To adjust picture contrast.
 Colour. To adjust colour.
 Sharpness. To adjust picture sharpness.
 Picture preset: USER => DYNAMIC => STAN-
DARD => MILD
 Picture enhance
o Skin tone: Choose on or off
o Blue stretch: Choose on or off
o Black stretch: Choose on or off
Note:  ADJUST can be adjusted only in PC mode
Sound
 VOLUME. Change the value of volume with the
key V+/V- the rang of 0 to 1 00.
 AVL. Set the function of AVL on or off. AVL to
on will limit the abruptly sound increasing usually
caused by advertising time.
 BALANCE: Change the value of balance from-50
to 50, usually 0 is default.
 LOUDNESS: Set the function of Loudness on or
off. Setting Loudness on can make bass a little bit
enhanced when the volume is small.
 SURROUND: Turn on surround effect.
 SOUND PRESET: Set the sound mode to USER => MUSIC => SPEECH => MOVIE =>.
 GRAPHIC EQUALIZER: enter equalizer submenu.

Feature
 LANGUAGE
Select the language of the OSD as follows: ENGLISH - RUSSIAN.
 BLUE BACK
Set the function of blue background on or off.
 TIMER
o CLOCK. Setup current time. Press V- buttons to ad-
just hours. Press [V+] to adjust minutes.
o OFF TIME. Setup auto off time. While V- buttons
to adjust hours. Press V+ to adjust minutes.
o ON TIME. Setup auto on time. While showing - -:--
auto on function does not work. Press V- buttons to
adjust hours. Press V+ to adjust minutes. showing -
-:--, auto off function does not work. Press
o ON PROGRAM. Setup auto on program. When
turn on TV, it comes to the setup program. The se-
lecting range is 0~199.
 LOCK
Enter the password accurately.
The original password is 0000.
o CHILD LOCK. In order to avoid children to watch
the Program which is not suitable, a children lock
could
be set. If it is ON and the program is chosen. The
locked information will be noted on the screen.
o PROGRAM. The program number which you want
to be locked, you can change the program number
by direct press digit button or V+/V-.
o LOCK. When chosen the program number then LOCK in MENU is on, the setup of LOCK is
functional, otherwise, the following setup is functionless.
o VOLUME LIMIT. When it is OFF, VOLUME MAX is functionless; when it is ON, it controls
the sound volume together with VOLUME MAX.
o VOLUME MAX. Setup the upper limit of the volume adjustment. While VOLUME LIMIT is
ON, the VOLUME LIMIT will be the max of sound. While VOLUME LIMIT is OFF, the
sound adjustment is not limited.

o CHANGE PASSWORD. Press digit number to enter new Password in NEW PASSWORD
item, and enter again in CONFIRM item. The same entering for twice will change the pass-
word, different entering will back to the NEW PASSWORD item.
 Calendar
Choose year number, the range of the years is from 1900
to 2155;
Choose month number; the range of the month is from 1
to 12.
Tuning
 PROGRAM. Switch present program number.
 SKIP. When it is OFF, skip is not available; if it is
ON, the present program could be skipped, but it
could be achieved through digit buttons
 COLOUR SYSTEM. Select the colour system from
AUTO => PAL => NTSC => SECAM => NTSC-
443 =>.
 SOUND SYSTEM: Select sound system from DK
=> I => BG.
 AUTO SEARCH. Start auto search of the channels. The AFT will be open.
 SEARCH. Start manual search. The AFT will be open.
 FINE TUNE. Start fine tune.
 AFT. Select the function of Auto frequency control.
Note: Submenu TUNING only appears under TV mode.
 EXCHANGE
o PROGRAM: The present PROGRAM number.
o EXCHANGE TO: The exchange program.
o EXCHANGE: Press V+/V- buttons in EXCHANGE
to confirm exchange, or quit by pressing MENU but-
ton.

Menu operation in VGA/YpbPr mode
1. Display NO SYNC PLEASE CHECK CABLE in the middle screen without signal input.
The green light glitters after 30 seconds.
Menu and number buttons are unavailable. Switch to other source by TV/AV button. System goes
to
standby after 30 seconds of no signal waiting.
2. Display UNSUPPORT MODE PLEASE ADJUST RESOLUTION in the middle of the screen
overstep display range.
3. Only PICTURE SOUND and FEATURE menu can work when there is signal input. The
SOUND and FEATURE menu are the same as before, but only BRIGHTNESS, CONTRAST
and PC ADJUST can be adjust in the picture menu. The right picture is the sketch map of the PC
ADJUST submenu. The definition of each option:
 H POS: Adjust the Horizon position.
 V POS: Adjust the Vertical position.
 H SIZE: Adjust the Horizon size.
 PHASE: Adjust the Sampling phase.
 COLOUR TEMP: Setting for color temperature
as below: NORMAL => 6500 => 9300 =>
NORM
 AUTO ADJUST: Adjust automatically.
 RESET: Resets H POS, V POS, H SIZE,
PHASE.

Troubleshooting
Before calling a technician, please check the following items to see whether you can easily diagnose
and fix the encountered symptoms on your own.

The causes of interference
Incorporated in your TV receiver are the most up-to-date devices to eliminate interference. Local
radiation however, can create disturbances, which visibly affect your picture. Proper installations, a
good aerial are your best safeguards against these disturbances.
 RF INTERFERENCE
Moving ripples across the screen are caused by nearby transmitting or receiving short-wave ra-
dio equipment.
 DIATHERMY
Herringbone pattern and partial picture loss can result from the operation of diathermy equip-
ment from a nearby doctor's surgery or hospital.
 SNOW
Weak TV signals from long distant stations result in an instead picture and give the effect of
falling snow. An antenna adjustment or antenna amplifier may be needed.
 GHOST
Multiple image, caused by TV signals reflected back from surrounding buildings, hills, aircraft,
etc. is minimized by correct aerial positioning.
 CAR IGNITION
Nearby cars and electrical motors can cause small streaks across the picture or make the picture
roll.
