Installing the appliance
1. Ensure that the DIP switches are in the off (down) position.( )
2. Plug the power cord into the appliance. Plug the power cord
into an electrical wall socket.( )
3. Plug your Internet connection into a WAN port.( )
4. If you are using a dial-up Internet connection, plug the serial
cable from your external modem into the serial port.( )
5. Plug the Ethernet cables from the computers to be protected
into the LAN ports.( )
6. Press the power button to turn on the appliance.( )
7. Wait for the first LED on the front panel to illuminate solid, Ł
and the third LED on the front panel to blink if one or more Ł
active devices are connected to a LAN port.
Configuring your appliance
The first time you access the appliance, the Setup Wizard guides
you through getting Internet connectivity.
To configure the appliance
1. In a Web browser, in the address text box, type 192.168.0.1.
2. Press Enter.
3. In the Setup Wizard, follow the prompts to connect the
appliance to the Internet.
