OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Note: All ADC520/ADC720 Series cameras ship with a 120VAC to 12VDC UL listed power supply with a
6-foot (1.8m) cord. 12VDC cameras will not line-lock and are not recommended for use in a matrix
switcher environment.
1. Please use a regulated 12VDC power adaptor to operate this unit. The
power
tolerance of this unit is 12VDC
±
10% (10.8VDC~13.2VDC); a power input of more
than 13.2VDC will damage this unit.
2. The video output (BNC connector) of this unit should only be connected to a
non-powered device. Please check the wiring of the video output before applying
power to this unit. If the power is applied through the video output cable, the unit
will be damaged.

This high quality B/W CCD video camera employs a Samsung CCD (charge coupled device) solid-state
imaging device that provides extremely long life and high reliability due in part to its low current consumption
of 95 mA.

3. Minimum illumination of 0.25 Lux/F2.0.

Major operating controls and functions
1. Video Output Connector (VIDEO OUT)
This connector plugs into the VIDEO IN connector on a video monitor.
2. 12VDC Input Terminal
This connector plugs into the 12VDC + 10% regulated power supply.
Connections
1. Connects the video terminal of the camera (VIDEO) and the video input terminal of the video monitor
with a 75-ohm (Ω) coaxial cable.
2. Connects the power terminal of the camera to a 12V DC regulated power supply.
