OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Note: All ADC520/ADC720 Series cameras ship with a 120VAC to 12VDC UL listed power supply with a
6-foot (1.8m) cord. 12VDC cameras will not line-lock and are not recommended for use in a matrix
switcher environment.
1. Please use a regulated 12VDC power adaptor to operate this unit. The
power
tolerance of this unit is 12VDC
±
10% (10.8VDC~13.2VDC); a power input of more
than 13.2VDC will damage this unit.
2. The video output (BNC connector) of this unit should only be connected to a
non-powered device. Please check the wiring of the video output before applying
power to this unit. If the power is applied through the video output cable, the unit
will be damaged.

This color CCD video camera employs a 1/4" Panasonic CCD (charge coupled device) solid-state imaging
device that provides extremely long life and high reliability. The camera offers excellent reproducibility with
low lag and high burn resistance. It is not subject to distortion from magnetic fields and functions reliably
across a wide temperature range.

Major operating controls and functions
1. Video Output Connector (VIDEO OUT): connects to Video IN connector on the video monitor
2. 12VDC Input Terminal: connects to power supply.
Connections
1. Connect the video terminal of the camera (VIDEO) and the video input terminal of the video monitor with
a 75-ohm coaxial cable.
2. Connect the power terminal of the camera to a 12VDC +
10% regulated power supply.
