Q1.How to install KWorld DVB-T 399U Digital TV Dongle?
A：
Please follow steps for installation as below:
Watch TV Please see connection chart to connect:
Please select an available USB 2.0 port.
Please follow the steps shown below to connect KWorld DVB-T 399U Digital
TV Dongle to your computer:
1 Connect the antenna into the TV INPUT connector.
2. Plug the USB cable of the TV stick into the USB port of your system.
After connecting properly, run HyperMedia to scan Digital channels and Watch
Digital TV.

Q2.How to install software? What software we should install?
A:
The TV stick package comes with completely Windows software utilities.
These utilities can be found on the installation CD included in the package.
Before installation, we recommend that you exit all background programs.
These include applications such as anti-virus software and system monitoring
applications.
After put the CD into CD ROM, it will auto run the program a second (the
speed depend on your CD ROM speed), you will see below options on autorun
page:
“Quick Installation”
“Utility”
“Manual”
“Quick Uninstallation”
You can directly Click “Quick Installation” option to install the driver、application
and remote(option)program step by step .
1. Once you finish the hardware installation, restart your operating system.
“Windows Found New Hardware Wizard” will pop up. Please click
“Cancel” and run the utilities setup included in the CD.
Note: If you use “Windows Found New Hardware Wizard” to install,
remote program will not install automatically. Remote function will not
work properly.
2. After put the CD into CD ROM, it will auto run the program a second (the
speed is depended on your CD ROM speed). On the auto run page, please
select “Quick Installation” to install driver.

3. After install the driver installation, you can continue enter the Hypermedia
Center installation process.
4. After finish all installation, please restart your PC. You can execute the short
cut of Hypermedia Center to start to use the feature of the DVB-T 399U
product.
Q3.How to uninstall the previous installed programs completely?
A:
Please check your device was plugged in USB port properly, please follows
below steps to uninstall completely.
Please use uninstall wizard to uninstall.
a. 『Quick Uninsallation』:
Please directly execute the 『Quick Uninsallation』option of the installed CD
to select which option you want to remove.
b.『QuickUninstallation』:

Please press”Start”=>”All programs”=>”KWorld Multimedia”.
To select the QuickUninstallation which you want to remove which program
you want.
Note: After finishing any uninstallation process, please reboot PC.
Q4. Cannot scan any channel and preview.
A:
1.Digital signal is weak; please change the setting place of antenna.
2.Please try to plug in your USB TV Stick and check “device manager”.
After you confirm the driver install properly, please reinstall Hypermedia Center
and execute the scanned Digital channel process again.
Q5. How to check the version of the installed driver?
A：
Please find “Computer” and right click to choose “Manage” in the start menu.
In the left pane you will find “Device Manager”, please expand the “Sound,
video and game controllers, you will get “AF9015 BDA device”. Please right
click the device and choose properties.
In the driver page, the V8.4.28.1 is the driver version.

Q6. How to make sure the driver is installed correctly？
A：
Please find “Computer” and right click to choose “Manage” in the start menu. In
the left pane you will find “Device Manager”, please expand the “Sound, video
and game controllers, you can find “AF9015 BDA device”. It should be the
same as the below picture without any “?”or “!” sign.
Q7. During watching TV, the video freeze or display green screen.
A:
1.Digital signal could be weak, please adjust antenna’s setting place and scan
channel again.
2. Try to use the household Antenna instead of the small antenna from the
package.

Q8. Does it also be used in other countries?
A:
The DVB-T 399U can support the country as long as the digital system is
DVB-T.
Q9.How to run the diagnose program-GetSysInfo to help to solve
problem?
A:
How to run GetSysInfo :
Step1. Please click GetSysInfo to run it directly. :
Before run GetSysInf, please plug your device into your computer and
install the software. When you see picture as below, please press “OK” to
continue run the diagnose program.
Step2.Please close the window.

Step3.After you run the program, it will dump the system and multimedia
information to a file under root of disk C:.
Please attach SystemInfo.ini from disk c: to mail.
And please don't forget to describe question in detail.

Q11. I cannot get a recorded file over 4GB, why?
A：
If the file system of the HDD partition that recorded files used to store is FAT32,
one single file cannot be over 4GB. If we use the default value 640x480 Mpeg2,
after 2 hrs recording, the file will be over 4GB. Please change the storage
location to the HDD partition with NTFS file system.
Q12.After plugging the TV stick into USB port, the operating system can
detect the device. The driver can not be installed and cannot find any
device in device manager.
A:
Please check does the TV stick connect to USB port properly, or there are
other USB devices. Too much USB devices setting on the computer
simultaneously may cause power lacking in installing software properly.
Please unplug other USB devices, and put the USB TV stick into computer
back USB port. After operating system find the device and showing in device
manager (see below picture), please follow instruction to install software

Q13.Cannot scan any channel.
A:
1. Please check digital antenna was connected to the USB TV stick properly,
and put the antenna to the place where have great signal accepting, and
scan again.
2. You can try to connect household Antenna (must support UHF/VHF).
Remember adjust the antenna to face the digital broadcast transmitter.
Q14. When running HyperMedia Center program, it appears “Cannot
render Mpeg2 Demux filter…”.How to fix the issue?
A:
When you run the program, it appears ” Cannot render MPRG2 Demux filter ” ,
please help us check below information:
1. Did the operating system install two (or more than two) video device? If yes,
please uninstall other video device driver and application.
2. Please check your motherboard support USB2.0 or not. And please confirm
the driver was installed properly. (USB1.1 cannot support this device).]
Please go to “device manager”=>”Universal Serial Bus Controllers”, check
below word “Enhanced” in red. If there is no “Enhanced” in your device
manager, it means your motherboard only support USB 1.1

3. Application run error or driver didn’t install properly. Please try to uninstall
software, restart operating system and re-install again.
4. Please try to update Windows XP service pack 2.
5. Please check the Microsoft DirectX9.0C was installed or not.
6. If you have other computer, you can try to install on other PC as well to
check operating system effect.
Q15.When running HyperMedia Center program, it appears “Error on
Event 900” and “Cannot pin, so it cannot work ($80040209)”. How to
solve the problem?
A:
Please adjust the Hardware acceleration. Follow below steps to setup.
Step1.
Please click right button on your desktop and select “properties”.
Please choose “settings”=>”advanced”.

Step3. Select “troubleshoot”=>adjust the”Hardware acceleration”.

Q16.When running HyperMedia Center, it appears “Invalid Class String”.
A:
When you install “K-Lite Codec Pack”, “ACE Mega Codec Pack” or other
software codec, such as “Direct Show Filter”, these applications may affect
your programs.
（ex: K-Lite Codec Pack v2.53）
Step1：Please check the Add or Remove Programs in control panel.
If it is absolutely necessary to install the codec, please use custom setup to
choose
Step2：Please make sure what should install and what should not.

Q17.When running HyperMedia Center, it displays”Cannot Set capture
device.... [1000]”.
A:
1. Please check TV stick was found and the driver installed properly in device
manager (please reference below picture).
If the driver didn’t install properly, you will see “!” or “?” in device manager.
Please try to reinstall driver to solve the question.
2. Please check whether sound card driver install properly in device manager.
Please refer to below picture. If the sound card is disabling, Hypermedia
Center will have error message.
