Chapter 1 PCI Analog TV Card Lite hardware installation
1.1 Package contents
Unpack your PCI Analog TV Card Lite package and make sure that all items are intact. The
following items should be included in your package
z PCI Analog TV Card Lite Model No# PVR-TV 7134SE
z FM antenna
z Remote control and sensor
z Quick guide
z Installation CD
z Multi-cable
1.2 System requirements
z Operation system Microsoft Windows® XP SP2 / XP MCE 2005 / Vista
z CPU Intel Pentium-IV 2.0GHz or equivalent AMD CPU or higher
z PCI 2.2 compliant slot
z Graphic Card with 64MB memory or above must support DirectX 9.0c
z Sound Card AC97 compatible
z 512MB RAM of system memory or above
z 2GB free hard disk space for recording
z CD-ROM drive for software installation
1.3 Hardware installation
Please follow the steps shown below for installation of your TV card and follow the pictorial guide
below for peripheral connections.
1. Turn off your computer power and peripherals.
2. Open the case of computer. Select an available PCI slot and remove the slot cover, screw, etc.
3. Place PCI Analog TV Card Lite firmly into the slot and secure the card.
4. Close the case of computer and insert antenna and cables then turn on the power.

Chapter 2 PCI Analog TV Card Lite quick installation
The PCI Analog TV Card Lite package comes with complete Windows software utilities. These
utilities can be found on the CD-ROM in this package. During installation, it is highly recommended
to disable any sub-programs. These include applications such as antivirus software and system
monitoring applications.
1. When you finish the hardware installation and
turn on your computer. The “Found New
Hardware Wizard” window will pop up. Please
click “Cancel” and you can make use of quick
installation for proper installation.
2. Insert the installation CD into the CD ROM
device. As the picture shows, the autorun page
will appear. Please choose “Multimedia
software and driver”.
Note If you already installed old version
application, please refer to Chapter 5. Naturally you
can skip the steps.
3. Please choose “Quick Installation”.

4. Please read the “End User License Agreement”
and then click “Agree” to continue.
5. The quick installation provides you with two
choices to install. Please choose “Typical
Installation” for complete device driver and
software installation, or choose “Custom
Installation” to set up options according to your
personal needs. Click “Next” to continue.
6. This step will instruct you to install the remote
control. Please choose your owner remote control
then click “Install” to continue.
7. Now the quick installation complete. Please
choose “Yes, I want to restart my computer
now” and click “Finish” to end the installation and
restart your computer.

Chapter 3 PCI Analog TV Card Lite quick uninstallation
1. If you want to uninstall device driver and software
utility, please click “Quick Uninstallation”.
Note You can also take another way to uninstall
device driver and software utility, please refer to
chapter 5.
2. The quick uninstallation provides you with two
choices to uninstall. If you want to uninstall device
driver and software utility completely, please
choose “Typical Uninstallation” or if you want to
uninstall partially, please choose “Custom
Uninstallation”. Click “Uninstall” to continue.
3. Now the quick uninstallation complete. Please
choose “Yes, I want to restart my computer
now” and click “Finish” to end the uninstallation
and restart your computer.

Chapter 5 FAQ
1. How to check if the driver has been installed successfully or not ?
Ans Right click “My Computer” on the desktop and choose “Properties”. Once in “Properties”
window, click on “Device Manager” in Hardware panel. Click on the plus icon of “Sound,
video and game controllers” to open the device list. See Fig.1.

2. How to check if the remote control can work fine ?
Ans 1 You have to check if the “Remote Control” utility is installed or not. Please refer to Fig.2.
2 You have to check if the driver has been installed or not.
3 You can check if the “Remote Control” tray icon is loaded in the right-bottom of task bar.
See Fig.3.

3. How to uninstall all of device driver and software utility ?
Ans 1 You can put the installation CD into CD-ROM drive to execute “Quick Uninstallation”.
2 You can also follow the step to uninstall. Please refer to Fig.4.

4. Remove old version applications
Ans The install wizard will detect HyperMedia version automatically. If you already installed an old
version, it will pop-up a warning window. Please click “Yes” to continue. Otherwise click “No”
to reserve current version application and install new driver. Please refer to Fig.5.

5. LiveUpdate
Ans 1 Please check your computer can connect to internet normally.
2 Please follow the step Fig.6.

3 Or you can double click on “LiveUpdate” icon, then follow the on-screen instructions to
update the latest driver or application via internet. See Fig.7.

6. How to adjust the size of window ?
Ans 1 Please go to the TV menu first and refer to Fig.8.
2 Please choose the “Switch Mode” button.
3 Then you can adjust the size of window under the TV mode. Please refer to Fig.9.
4 If you want to return to the normal size, please choose the button again.

Chapter 6：Media Center setting
Installation for usage with Windows XP MCE
If you have a PC equipped with Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition MCE and want to
watch and record TV using the Microsoft Media Center application, please follow the installation
steps below.
1. Make sure you have installed the latest Windows updates.
2. Make sure a MCE certified DVD player software is installed on your PC.
3. Run the MCE Encoder installer on installation CD and follow the steps of the installation wizard.
4. Restart your PC.
5. Opening the Microsoft Windows Media Center application and follow its setting instructions.
6. After that, you can enjoy live TV with Windows Media Center.
