2.1 The Front Panel

The Router’s LEDs are located on the front panel (View from left to right). They indicate the
device’s working status. For details, please refer to LED Explanation.

The following part is located on the front panel.
WPS/WLAN
Press this button to enable/disable the WLAN function.
Press and hold this button for more than 5 seconds enables the WPS function. If your client
devices, such as wireless adapters, support Wi-Fi Protected Setup, then you can press this
button to quickly establish a connection between the router and client devices and
automatically configure wireless security for your wireless network.
2.2 The Back Panel
The Router's ports, where the cables are connected, and RESET button are located on the back
panel.

POWER: The Power plug is where you will connect the power adapter.
ON/OFF: The switch for the power.
RESET: There are two ways to reset the Router's factory defaults.
Hard Reset: With the Router powered on, use a pin to press and hold the Reset button for at least 5 seconds.
Soft Reset: Restore the default setting from “Maintenance- Restart” of the Router's Web-based Utility.
USB: The USB port connects to a USB storage device / 3G USB modem
4, 3, 2, 1 (LAN): Through the port, you can connect the Router to your PC or the other Ethernet network
devices.
LINE: Through the port, you can connect the router with the telephone. Or you can connect them by an
external separate splitter.
Antennas: Used for wireless operation and data transmit.

2.3 Installation Environment
The Product should not be located where it will be exposed to moisture or excessive heat.
Place the router in a location where it can be connected to the various devices as well as to a
power source.
Make sure the cables and power cord are safely placed out of the way so they do not create a
tripping hazard.
The Router can be placed on a shelf or desktop.
Keep away from the strong electromagnetic radiation and the device of electromagnetic
sensitive.
2.4 Connecting the Router
Before installing the device, please make sure your Broadband / ADSL / 3G service provided by
your ISP is available. (3G service verify the SIM is activated / data service is activated).
If there is any problem, please contact your ISP.

2.5 TCP/IP Configuration
The default IP address of the 300M MIMO Triple Smart Router is 192.168.1.1. And the default
Subnet Mask is 255.255.255.0. These values can be changed as you desire. In this guide, we use
all the default values for description.
Connect your PC to the LAN port of the Router, you can configure your PC to an obtain IP address
in the following way:
1) Set up the TCP/IP Protocol (Version 4) in "Obtain an IP address automatically" mode
on your PC.
2) Then the router will assign IP address for the PC.
Now, you can run the Ping command in the command prompt to verify the network connection.
Please click the Start menu on your desktop, select run tab, type cmd or command in the field
and press Enter. Type ping 192.168.1.1 on the next screen, and then press Enter.
If the result displayed is similar to the screen below, the connection between your PC and the
router has been established.

If the result displayed is similar to the screen shown below, it means that your PC has not
connected to the router.

You can check it follow the steps below:
1) Is the connection between your PC and the router correct?
The LEDs of LAN port which you link to the device and the LEDs on your PC's adapter should
be lit.
2) Is the TCP/IP configuration for your PC correct?
If the router's IP address is 192.168.1.1, your PC's IP address must be within the range of
192.168.1.2 ~ 192.168.1.254.
2.6 Quick Installation Guide
There are two methods for you to set up the iB-WRT300N Router quickly and easily.

. Enter admin for the User
Name and Password, both in lower case letters. Then click the Login button or press the Enter
key.
Note:
1) Do not mix up the user name and password with your ADSL account user name and password
which are needed for PPP connections.
2) If the above screen does not pop up, it means that your Web-browser has been set to a proxy.
Go to Tools menuInternet OptionsConnectionsLAN Settings, in the screen that
appears, cancel the Using Proxy checkbox, and click OK to finish it.
1. After your successful login, you will see the Login screen as shown in Figure 2-25. Click
Quick Setup menu to access Quick Setup Wizard.
