1. Using a 1.5mm Allen wrench, remove the detent set screw. (1)
2. With a pick or similar tool remove the detent spring. The detent ball may or may not come out. It can remain in place as long as the spring is removed.
3. Using a 1.5mm Allen, reinstall the set screw. Tighten down until flush.
4. Using a 2mm Allen wrench, install the cable stop to the shock body. Tighten to 0.8-0.9 Nm (7-8 in lbs). (2)
5. Remove the blue rebound knob using a 2mm Allen wrench. (3)
6. Loosen compression knob set screw with a 1.5mm Allen wrench and remove the compression knob from the shock. (4)
7. Apply small amount of grease to torsion spring pocket. (5)
8. Install torsion spring, aligning short leg into the slot. (6)
9. Apply small amount of grease to the outside of the torsion spring.
10. Install new 180 degree compression knob, being careful to align spring leg with slot on the back of the knob and to align the flat of the knob with the
flat on the compression knob shaft. You can use a pick or similar tool to push the spring leg into the slot on the back of the knob.
11. Firmly seat the knob, making sure it is not misaligned which can cause the torsion spring to bind.
12. Tighten set screw using a 1.5mm Allen. Be careful not to over tighten.
13. Install rebound knob and screw. Use a 2mm Allen wrench to tighten down screw. Hold down rebound knob while tightening down screw to prevent
damage to adjuster needle. Tighten down rebound knob screw to 0.5-0.7 Nm (4-6 in lbs).
14. Partially install cable set screw into compression knob using a 1.5mm Allen wrench. Do not tighten down all the way. (7)
15. Install cable through cable housing stop. Pull tight until housing is firmly seated in the housing stop.
16. Hold the compression knob to the open position and the MILO lever to the unlocked position. Thread the cable around the knob and through the hole
by the cable set screw.
17. Keep tension on the cable and tighten the cable set screw down firmly using a 1.5mm Allen wrench.
18. Check function of MILO lever. Ensure that it rotates the compression knob on the shock to the maximum position when the MILO lever is engaged.
Adjust barrel adjuster on lever if needed.
19. Trim excess cable and install cable end.
